Spending $10,000 on crap?

How to create automatic money

I met a young woman yesterday who’s name I
won’t reveal, but who’s story I will.

Her and I where having a personal
consultation in which I was sharing some of
the most critical components to her success
online when she told me about her past.

I asked her “How did you ever found this
crazy online business world anyways?”

She replied with “I was watching an
infomercial”

I immediately knew which one it was when she
told me about it. She ended up buying a
website from that infomercial that cost her
almost $10,000, that, if I may say so myself,
was crap.

I was surprised what people will do in the
name of making a buck and this was about as
bad as it gets, but her attitude towards it
is what was most shocking.

She didn’t complain and boo hoo about how
someone had scammed her and done her wrong.
Nope. Instead she was grateful.

Why?

In her own words . . .

“Had I not been through that I wouldn’t have
found you Daegan.”

This is the mark of champion. Not all lessons
learned in business are pleasant ones, but
all are growth experiences.

Your business is always growing. We like to
think of it like a machine, but in reality
business is more like a living organism that
reacts and grows to it’s environment.

Sometimes it will be very apparent that it’s
growing fast, at other times you won’t notice
it, but at all times it is growing.

In fact, the only time your business isn’t
growing is when it’s dead.

This young lady saw her experience as one of
growths.

One that was putting her on the path to
future success and she held no malice towards
that experience.

In the most certain of terms she told me
“I will be successful Daegan.”

So stern was her resolve, that it actually
gave me chills. I knew at the moment, hearing
that passion, that drive, that there is no
force in this world that can stop her and her
long term success truly only is a matter of
time.

These lessons are the important ones. I hope
you’re listening in.

I too found my way into this crazy online
world via an infomercial. I too bought into
the crazy hype and spent money on things that
showed no return except the most important
type - experience.

I was told if I just starred at my computer
long enough money would start pouring out. As
silly as this seems, on an important level I
believed and began to do just that.

It is of the strongest traits to have on the
path to success.

To believe and put your money on the line. At
times you will be burnt, but in the long run
you will always find your way.

The attitude you choose to take to those not
so pleasant experiences is what will define
your future.

If you want the floodgates of wealth to open
up to you . . .

If you want to skyes to open and checks to
pour out. Take a stab, grow, take another
stab, learn the important lesson and soon you
will be on your way.

Some stabs are larger than others. $10,000 is
a lot to take on the cheek and keep going.

I’ve felt that sting. That feeling where you
don’t know where the next dollar is coming
from and you feel silly for spending the last
$20 and . . . .

That’s why I make your doorway free.

Make no mistake, just because I give you my
blueprint to millions for free doesn’t mean
it doesn’t hold what can get you there. The
same process mentioned in this little known
and never revealed resource is exactly what I
do today.

It’s exactly how I earn over $103,971 per
month and how you can to. If it’s free, it’d
be a little silly not to at least check it
out don’t you think? Get this now.

Thank me later.

Just a few words that will save you a lot of
time and frustration but it’s up to you with
what you do with them.

Today’s a good day . . .

If A Few Drops Of Water Can Do This . . .

Friday, March 14th, 2008

As entrepreneurs we tend to under estimate
our abilities and over estimate the magnitude
of the obstacles that stand between us and
our goals.

You may not believe me, but I want you take a
second to ponder this . . .

Eons ago there was a small stream that began
as a few drops of water. That stream
gradually turned into a river. That river,
slowly and methodically carved out what would
come to be known as the Grand Canyon.

I took a trip to Las Vegas a few months back
and decided to take a plane tour of the Grand
Canyon. As I sat there on the plane I thought
about how the Grand Canyon began.

Just a stream flowing down a mountain - if I
had been there at the beginning and someone
told me that one day where I stood there
would be one of the great wonders of the
world, and that it would be created by this
small stream I would have called that person
crazy.

Yet the Grand Canyon exists today.

Your actions are the water that carves your
future business. What you’re doing now may
seem small, a few leads here, and introducing
a few people to your business there, but make
no mistake you’re laying the foundation for
something Grand.

Like the ever flowing waters of the Colorado
River which hold the power to carve through
rock to create its path, your actions will
carry you through any obstacle to your goal.

Make note that Colorado River never stops to
think about the task, the water simply flows,
so too should your actions and desires. Have
faith in them. Keep them flowing constantly
and there is no obstacle to Grand.

The Stories Keep Pouring In . . .

Tuesday, March 11th, 2008

Over the weekend I’m happy to say that many
many people decided to share their story
about what their business means to them. At
my last count there are about 61 people
who’ve decided to share. You can view their
stories and share yours here.

As you read through these stories you’ll
notice a few things if you look closely.

First, as I mentioned a few days ago, many
have shared their zest for success so vividly
you can literally feel it as you read through
their words. Use their energy and excitement
a spark for your own.

The second thing you’ll notice is, on the
other hand, there are a few people that have
decided to share their failures. There is
nothing wrong with this. I’m happy that
everyone who shared took the time to do so,
but I do say this . . .

If you focus on your failure you create more
of them. I just read through some of the
feedback and saw how some shared that they
had been scammed and now they are scared to
move forward.

The thing is . . .

We’ve all had experiences in our business
that are less than savory. In fact, if I
chose to, every single day I could write you
about how I’ve been taken advantage of in one
way or another, but you don’t hear that from
me. Why?

It’s counterproductive. It doesn’t help you.
My job is to feed you with mental and
mechanical characteristics that move you
towards success, and so that’s what I share.

No one is a victim. Yes, we’ve all taken our
knocks, but so what? Focusing on those things
does not produce positive results, so why
waste the time?

The difference between success and failure is
slight and it’s mental. It, in fact, IS very
much a habit. One that require no additional
energy, just the proper use of the energy we
already have.

Mentally move away from dwelling on how
you’ve been wronged and each day that you
wake up do two things . . .

First, make the first thought you have each
day a positive one. Second, ask yourself what
your goal is each day and then set out to do
it. Once you acquire this habit you’ll soon
wonder why you ever wasted any time or
thought on anything else.

It takes no more energy to think about what
you’re going to do today to grow your
business than it does to think about what
someone did yesterday to wrong you, yet the
results each of these thought patterns
produce in our lives are polar opposites.

Now . . .

I understand that some actually enjoy
reliving past failures and that’s fine. All I
mean by this is, if you enjoy it do it, but
it’s not the thought path that’s going to
change anything.

The ultimate control we have is our thoughts
and it’s from these that we change the events
in our lives. If you feel like you’ve been
had and everything you’ve tried has turned
out to be a scam and so no one is to be
trusted, before you write your business off
try to change what you think about your
business.

Start inside. See . . . It’s natural to want
to “find” the secret to money and abundance
outside, but the biggest secret is, it ain’t
out there it’s in you. It’s natural to feel
that after I get XYZ I’ll be ready. It’s
comforting. But, it’s only half the story.

Again the other half, the more important half
is in you.

For instance . . .

I read in one of the responses that someone
said I had a “gift” for writing, and I
appreciate the compliment greatly, but - to
think you don’t have that same “gift” is
wrong.

All the “gift” is - is being yourself,
realizing that’s good enough, and that you have
real value to share. As much as I have this
gift, if you take a close look, you’ll see you
have the same.

The difference between the doers and “yeah
buters” is slight, it’s free, and it’s in
your power. It’s simply the choice of
perspective.

Which do you choose?

Ohh . . . And I almost forgot.

One other trend I’m seeing (and really this
should be a completely different message, but
it popped into my mind now so I’ll share . .
.) is that a few people have said . . .

“Why don’t the businesses we join just let us
join for free and have us sign some paper
that says once we make some money we’ll pay
it back?”

Read that again for me.

What is this question really getting at?

What I see in this question is confusion.

When was the last time you tried to start a
McDonalds franchise and they said . . . “No
don’t pay for your franchise now, just sign
here, and when you make some money send it
our way?”

It’s not going to happen and to think that
this is the way business is done is just plain
wrong. If you question this, you’re main issue
is not one of success, it’s even more basic
than that, it’s one of what you’re really
after.

Businesses inherently involve risk and
opportunity. If you start a business you take
on the risk for the upside of unlimited
opportunity. We all step into these shoes
when we start a network marketing or direct
sales business.

If you’re after anything other than
opportunity in a business, then you’re not
looking for a business. The truth is you’re
looking for a job.

In a job, you get interviewed and if you
qualify you get paid hourly. There’s null risk,
you get paid for your time. If that’s the set
up you’re looking for than you’re not looking
for a business you’re looking for a job.

Here’s something I didn’t realize until I
started working for myself . . .

I used to fear making the ends meet on my
own - “What if I have a bad month and I can’t
pay the bills?”, but what I realized once I
stepped into these shoes is once you embrace
the opportunity side of your business there
really is zero risk, because as you grow so does
your 1ncome, and more importantly you control
the entire situation.

It’s actually a much more secure situation
than just a job, but you’ll see what I mean
once you’re home free.

Let me know what you’re thinking . . .

Life Or Death On The Bering Sea

Wednesday, March 5th, 2008

Last night we held a very special event on
creating “Automatic Income Systems” online
which I was extremely excited to host. One of
my own teachers, Kevin Thompson, selflessly
not only shared his own success strategies
for creating automated online business but
shared a few things that I know for a fact
were hard for him to say.

Sometimes I think we can assume that the life
of those who “figure it out” for themselves
have always been smooth sailing when most
often that’s not the case.

Perfect example is what was discussed on last
nights event. Kevin is about the last guy
anyone would assume could or should be
successful in an online business. He’s a guy
who never went to college, never got a “good
job”, and was never given a thing.

His story began with him joining the military
and then soon after taking on THE deadliest
job’s one the planet. A job that almost
killed him.

If you’ve ever seen the TV show “The
Deadliest Catch” you have a good idea of what
Kevin did. He was advised by a friend that a
person in his position could make a killing
as an Alaskan Fisherman, and naively Kevin
agreed.

He worked 36 hour days with only 6 hours of
sleep between shifts for up to two months at
a time in below freezing wet and windy
conditions hauling the ships catches.

One day this job almost took his life. He
heard the Captain bellow out “Kevin Watch
Out!”. Without a second to brace himself the
ship was hit with a mammoth wave which sent
Kevin hurdling across the deck.

Injured, and to this day still bearing the
scars of that close call, Kevin recalled
being grateful because he knew had that wave
carried him just a foot higher he would have
been hurled into the cold waters of the
Bering Sea where death was assured.

This experience made Kevin realize that he
was literally putting his life on the line for
a paycheck. No matter what angle you look
at it it ain’t worth it.

He went home and told his wife that we was
going to quit his job and she said “Kevin,
you’ve never gone to college, you’re a blue
collar worker, and you need to keep doing
what you’re doing.”

Kevin didn’t agree and followed along with
his plan anyway and as a result his wife
divorced him.

Today, Kevin is not only living life on his
terms without putting his life on the line,
he’s doing it working 3 hours a month in his
little online “mold” business.

Things were not all rosy, even those closest
too him thought he was crazy, yet he knew
what was best.

At the beginning, all he had was an idea of
where he wanted to be. No plan, just an idea.

If you have that same “idea” never give up.
You hold the same power to cause quantum
shifts in your life and business if and only
if you never give up.

A Cold Shower And The Shocking Truth . . .

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

Yesterday I told you about how I asked my
grandparent’s an important question that was
pivotal to my success development. If you
missed yesterday’s episode you can checkout
the rerun by clicking here.

But, what I didn’t tell you about was the
shocking details of how I actually stumbled
upon network marketing as my financial
vehicle.

I remember vividly the day . . .

I woke up and got in the shower just like I
did everyday before hitting the road as a
pharmaceutical sales rep here when it hit me.

I started to think about life 10 years from
now, and the picture that came to my mind
shook me to my core. The whole day I couldn’t
shake the image. I was scared and visibly
shaken.

What I saw was me, 10 years older,
overweight, a drunk, completely cynical, but
still holding down that same job a slave to
my wages.

Living from paycheck to paycheck always
dreaming about what I could have done, but
realizing deep in my core that I didn’t have
the courage to ever take a stand and do it.

I saw a person that would look in the mirror
and would hated himself because he lived the
life of a hypocritical liar.

I guy who would work just hard enough to keep
his job while telling the rest of the world
how much it sucked, yet do nothing to
change the situation.

A complete creature of habit who’s only way
out was a trip to the bar for a few too many
drinks a few days too often.

More than money, more than freedom my life
changed because I acted out of fear of who I
may become.

Now I’m not saying that’s where you are right
now or that that would be your major
motivation to succeed, but it got me off my
ass and started a change reaction in my life
that lead to today and me speaking to you.

Maybe today is the start of the chain
reaction that leads to you helping a few or
maybe many many more people find a life that
they can live full of passion, excitement, and
fun. I life without regret or financial
worry.

This is why it’s imperative you join me this
coming Tuesday for a special free event. The
chain reaction starts here, but after you get
the game plan for free next week who knows
how far it will take you. Maybe a few
thousand a day or maybe, just maybe, a whole
lot more.

Take 10 second, follow the link below and
reserve your sit for this special one time
only event before it’s too late.

Can You See Your Success?

Saturday, February 2nd, 2008

I just got off the phone a few minutes ago
with a good friend of mine. Actually, if
you’ve seen the new look of the
www.DaeganSmith.com website, it’s the
mastermind behind my new look.

His name is Vince, and we had one of the best
conversations I’ve had in a long time on the
topic of manifesting success from scratch.

Along with being a great artist, Vince is a
success expertm and some of what he shared
with me, so listen in . . .

I’m a huge personal development nut. In fact,
I don’t think I would have made my first
$1,000 plus month online if it were not for
my fanatic stance on personal development.
(If you saw what audio recordings I have and
listen to constantly on my IPhone you’d see
what I mean.)

A habit I acquired a long time ago was
constantly infusing my mind with powerful
thoughts, so as I go through the day, whether
I’m working or not, I’m listen to something
that puts me in the success frame of mind.

If there is a secret here, it’s feeding the
mind. It’s like a muscle. If you don’t keep
working it out it shrivels up and those
negative thoughts and feelings start to show
up again.

Well this little conversation I had, took
things quite a bit further. Vince discussed
with me how he had been using visualization
to achieve his goals and how powerful it’s
been for him. So instead of just thinking
about and focusing on what you want he’s a
huge proponent of visuals all around to feed
the process.

If you’ve heard of Dan Kennedy, the
information marketing millionaire maker, you
know he’s a prolific marketer and writer.

Anytime you’re at the airport, check one of
the airport bookstores and you’ll find Dan
Kennedy’s work. In fact, I suggest you pick
up a few of his books. They’re the best out
there on anything from success to time
management to making millions.

Well, Vince visualized his success and landed
a huge deal to do upcoming artwork for Dan
Kennedy in his new books. That’s huge!

The more Vince explained his technique the
more I realized I had been using them all
along. As a young kid my biggest goal was to
get my picture in the Washington Post as one
of the best wrestlers in the area. So each
year from Freshman to Junior I’d save the
Washington Post picture of all the best
wrestlers in the area and just imagine myself
being there one day. Senior year it happened.

Even today, as a screensaver on my computer, I
have a picture of that exact photo. My senior
year Washington Post picture is on my
computer at all times. Why? It helps me
remember past goals achieved, and fuels the
fire for the future.

The eerie thing is I had been using
visualization to help myself grow all along
and I hadn’t even known the power of it. I
think the result speak for themselves. I’m
sold on it.

So my tip for today is find a picture of a
past goal achieved and plaster it in front
of you as you work to grow your business. It
will be a powerful boost to your focus and
determination.

It will rapidly accelerate the success
process.

I’ve convinced Vince to hold a special free
training on his visualization techniques
which will be held in the near future. I’ll
get the details soon.

For now, this Monday, don’t forget we’ll be
holding a very special call on a very
different topic that I think will be more
than worth your while. The topic is, getting
mucho free passive traffic from the search
engines to grow your business. I’ll be
grilling a couple MIT geeks who’ve cracked
the code.

If you want to be on the early announcement
list, be sure to head over to
www.daegansmith.com and pick up your copy of
my fr’ee CD and you’ll get call in details
for this limited free call early Monday
morning.
