A few days ago on an “MLM Underground” call I fell into a trance. 40 minutes passed as if it were only 2 or 3. (I get like that sometimes when I get into the groove) . . .
At the end of the call, I opened up the lines for questions, and person after person stepped up the the mic NOT with questions, but with praise for what I had fallen into a self induced trance to share.
Today, amidst the confusion, endless options of what you could possibly spend your time doing in your business, spinning your wheels, in this day where everyone screams and yells “I’ve got the secret to recruiting” I’m not going to be discussing how to do that, rather . . .
I’m going to take a step back to introduce a topic that if you just take a few short minutes to pay close attention to it WILL be a game changer for you and your business.
It will be one of those defining moments where you say “NOW I FINALLY GET IT”, and off you’ll go, a few months down the road your business will finally start making you money the way you’d always expected it to, daily and consistently.
When that day comes, you’ll feel a cool calm come over you and that little voice in your head will say “I’ve arrived”, worry about bills will soon fade, whether or not you get a pink slip won’t matter anymore. In fact, the funny thing is, you won’t ever worry about why your “new recruit” isn’t doing anything. No more stress. Total freedom.
Why? You’ll finally have complete business serenity and security. Wouldn’t that feel good to just know that no matter what happens, financially you’re on rock solid ground today, tomorrow, and into the foreseeable future?
What I’m going to discuss is YOUR game changer.
How you will rise above. For me it’s meant being able to do things like get more online exposure than my entire home business with 10,000s of reps as a one man show sitting in a small 10X10 office here just five minutes from the capital in Washington DC.
And the secret’s just that. When you know how to get more exposure than your entire company you win. Recruiting is easy and things just roll . . .
So how? Amidst all the possible options, there are only a few that matter. I learned this a few years back and changed my business to reflect what I’m about to share. It’s not about the latest greatest.
If you make your business about these two simple concepts I’m about to share you always win, now and long term. So, whether you have time now or later, find a few minutes to review this simple truth.
If you want long term business security it’s NOT about recruits, it’s about two things:
1. Leverage 2. Stability
Archimedes said “Give me a lever long enough and I can move the earth” Nothing more true . . .
Leverage is the ability to move large masses with a small force. You make your business about leverage, you do little, big things move.
Stability, stability tempers leverage. And it should be thought of not as a term but rather as a question when applying it to your business. “How can I create the most leverage possible in my business in the MOST stable way?”
You find the answer to that and you don’t move the earth once, you move it whenever you want. Leverage and stability is all that matters.
Here’s how this applies to your business:
Business is not easy. It’s not join and get rich. But, it ain’t hard either.
You focus on creating leverage and stability not by “trying to stay ahead of the jone’s”, but by keeping things simple. Once you’ve got this formula you’ll find “leverage creates stability and stability creates leverage” they work synergistically and that’s the true “magic”, so here are your ingredients for “magic” making:
Leads - the more you get the bigger your audience, the farther your message and influence reaches.
Relationship - the better your relationship the more trust your audience has in your message.
Profits - money makes the world go around. The more you make, the more leads you can get, the better the relationships you can forge, and back full circle the more money you will make.
Leads, relationship, and profits = leverage and stability
Do you see how simple that is?
What if you got good at one way to get leads and you could put that on semi autopilot?
One day, like I’ve experienced, you could be sitting on the Caldera Island of Santorini Greece, pull into an internet cafe and see you’ve gotten 2700+ leads that day while exploring a volcano and having a few beers while watching the sunset.
What if you had a simple system for developing relationships. Giving true value in a HIGHLY leveraged manner while leads flow endlessly into your business. Simply system? “An email a day keeps the job away”
What if because of that semi automated lead system you have bringing you leads and your simple relationship system your prospects grow to value you and start “finding” ways to get into your more immediate circle of influence?
Sounds like recruits and profit to me . . .
Why not just do that?
Simplicity makes for a sound business and a calm and serene mind. A sense of stability, and security. Isn’t that what this is all about? (It is for me)

Just because I say simple I don’t mean be lazy.
You gotta be aggressive about your success. Aggressively get leads, aggressively forge lifelong relationships, aggressively profit, and you create MAXIMUM LEVERAGE and lifelong stability.
There ain’t no half assin it. You go. You do. You thrive.

I woke up pretty early this morning and decided to flip on the news and to my surprise I saw something outrageously amazing in a story covered, equally amazing was the reaction of the press and the experts they called in for this very unique case.
There’s an important and grounding lesson here, if you pick it up and follow suit you’ll hit your success metrics faster, if you don’t you’re going to miss out on of the largest “secrets” to success I know, use, and see used by just about every break out success in the home business industry.
The really interesting thing about what I’m about to share with you is mastery of this skill changes your life, you’ll be able to stress less, take care of the important things like your friends and family, not worry about what the economy is doing, and quite literally start turning a lot of heads, attract more winning prospects, grow teams faster, easier, and with less rejection.
In fact, I think it’s so important, whether or not you have time read this lesson now or later you should set aside sometime today to take five minutes to really go through this thoroughly on your schedule and really think deeply about how you can apply THIS to your business.
I’ve personally used this very same principle to recruit 101 people in 55 hours at $500 a piece, I’ve seen some students and colleagues uses this to make well over $200,000 in just a few days, to put it bluntly, this just works.

So there I was flipping through the channels and I stopped on a news channel about 5:30am, nothing special going on, the whether, early morning traffic reports, but then they switched to a piece about the economy and what people were doing to pick up work.
The news ran a story about a woman in Connecticut who decided to take a risk.
She had some money saved up for a down payment on a house, but instead of using it for that she decided to spend $7000 of it on billboard advertising.
That amount of money bought her one month on a roadside billboard to advertise whatever she wanted. What did she put on it?
A simple message . . .
“Hire Me”, a picture of her, and a simple website address to learn more about what she had to offer. At the time of the newscast, she had over 800 people visit her website.
They interviewed her and asked her why the heck would she do something as “seemingly crazy” as wager $7000 to put her resume on a billboard.
Her reply “You have to get your name out there. You have to be aggressive in todays market. Yeah I could have saved the money for a down payment, but what’s the use if I don’t have a job?”

The interviewer and the host of the newscast responded in a manner as if to say “she’s nut’s but we’ll see . . .”
And here’s where it got interesting.
They brought a hiring expert to express what the job market would think about her “advertising” her abilities in this way.
The expert said “We’ll if it’s done in a tasteful way we may look at it, but if it’s cheesy any employer would simply pass here up.”
Meanwhile I’m sitting there watching the news thinking “How freaking genius is this . . .“
This woman, for being aggressive, taking on a little risk to get her name out there, not only is getting the direct result of having interest parties review here resume online in her local area, she’s NOW gotten a FREE TV spot nationally, been interviewed for it, and is now getting her name in front of the entire country.
The whole time, neither the TV station or the “hiring expert” realize what she’s really done. She’s gotten free national advertising on the news.
Not bad, “I’d hire this woman in a second if I needed a full time graphic designer” (to be honest she probably doesn’t know it, but she’d make a great entrepreneur) and even though the newscast didn’t say she’d landed a job yet, I’d bet my house she does before the month is up.
What does this have to with you and your business?
Most people out of work get depressed, feel bad for themselves, and go into a completely inactive state and for it, get lost in the shuffle.
Maybe you didn’t have immediate success in your business. Did you slowly become more inactive and get down on yourself?
I know I did back at the beginning.
Why not try the opposite. Take calculated risks, be aggressive in going after your specific goals.
This woman was after a job, she devised a plan, got some advertising in her local area in a unique and direct response way (how much more direct can you be than to put on a billboard “hire me” right?) and for it she got national media attention.
(Ohh by the way, A few minutes later I flipped the channel and saw the same story running on another news station. You can’t beat that for free advertising.)
The lesson is don’t wait to be lead.
Just go. Make it happen and you WILL attract attention, you’ll be in full control, and you’ll probably create a little “success mojo” in the process.

You’re right, and here’s why . . .
I made a conscious decision not too long ago to
change the way I communicate via email. A
“light” went off in my head.
For years I had been ranting, raving, sharing
strategies, and tips by email ONLY.
While this does a good job at transmitting
information to you I wish someone had told me
years ago I was sometimes left wondering if my
message had really gotten through to as many
people as possible.
Well, the “light” that went off showed me a
new level of to communicating my message. Taking
it from a simple lesson to be taken notes on to
a true growth experience for all involved
In school when a teacher teaches a student
can raise his or her hand and offer an opinion
or ask questions.
Email alone doesn’t allow this, but . . .
Using a blog and proactively asking you to
respond turns what was a simple passive
lesson to be read and pondered into a true and
engrossing learning experience.
In class, as a student, did a fellow class mate
ever raise their hand and share an insight or
an angle you hadn’t thought of?
What happened when they did?
Did it get you to think about the subject at
hand from a different perspective?
Did it allow you to come up with new
conclusions and or answers to the topic being
discussed that you wouldn’t have thought of
on your own?
On the other hand, did you ever take
part in the debate and after playing actively
in the situation go away with a deeper
understanding of the subject matter?
Learning is an active process.

I did send yesterday’s email to get a
response. Why?
We all learn more when we all get involved.
Just today I got an email I will share later
this afternoon or maybe tomorrow from a
participant in last weeks debate who had
taken that information and recruited 4
people in the last 9 days.
Active learning => Deeper Understanding =>
More Precise Planning => Higher Probability
Of Taking Actions That Lead To Success =>
Results.
Now there will be times where I send out an
email as a lesson or a video or audio lesson
that I know will bring you success based on
my own tried and true results without starting
a conversation around it, but Asher . . .

In the last week we’ve talked a great deal
about turning negatives into positives - how
to turn getting ripped off into an
opportunity that can bring you leads without

We’ve even taken that idea and turned it into
a system for free lead generation using

Now let’s take these free leads to the bank
and turn them into recruits.
Pay close attention.
As I give you this strategy for online
recruiting please understand that there are
several systems I currently use, but I’m
not going to be revealing them all here now
because it’s not about overload. It’s about
getting results.
My aim in sharing this information is to give
you a simple system you can use to recruit
now even if you’re just getting started, so
this system I’ve chosen was chosen for a
reason - this is something everyone can do.
Let’s pick up from getting free leads using a
rip off report as bait while carrying on
conversations in online forums.
People will be requesting your free report
and will become subscribers to your
autoresponder. (If you don’t have one or
don’t know what one is here is the one I use
and have used for several years now.)
Once these leads are in your database your
next job is to carry on a conversation. Give
value. Your immediate job is NOT to recruit.
You want to give people a reason to want to
work with you first without even bringing up the
idea that it’s possible.
So if you start out with the idea of a rip
off report. Daily you should share your
story. How you were ripped off and how your
readers can avoid your mistake.
If you can turn this information into a
conversation by incorporating a blog and
having a two way discussion this will
increase your results and allow you to give
even further value.
This blog step is NOT necessary, but is
powerful to those willing to do so.
For about a month you should share daily
information to your subscriber base about how
not to get ripped off.
You should seed the idea that they can really
make money in their own business if they just
find the right one and the right person to
work with and give reasons why like:
-With the right business all the marketing is
done for you
-With the right business you’ll have a product
in demand
-With the right mentor they’ll shortcut all
the pitfalls that could occur
-Etc.
Now, you should probably designate one week
per month that you will call your promotion
week. In this week, you open the doors for
others to work with you, but only those who
meet the criteria of people you specifically
want to work with.
What this means is you should take some time
to really put down on paper what type of team
you want. What personality characteristics
will these individuals have? Etc.
In your week of promotion be sure to let them
know who should apply and why - once you know
yourself.
Of course you’re only one person so you have
to limit the number you will take in because
you as one person only have some much time to
devote and you don’t want to bring people in
that you will not be able to give the time
you think they deserve.
A safe number for this for most people is
five.
Well if you’re getting free leads from
forums, what happens when you’ve got 80 to
100 leads and you’re telling all 100 you’ve
only got 5 spaces?
You create REAL scarcity which increases value
and response. This is good.
Now, how do you promote in the week you choose
to promote?
I think the simplest way to do that is at the
end of each email you send give your leads a
call to action in the way of an email address
where they can email you to set up an
appointment.
Tell them how many appointments you are going
to take and give them simple instructions as
to what they need to provide you to actually
get that appointment.
If, for instance, you ask them to tell you
what their long term goals are in the email
you ask them to send you to request an
appointment make sure you read each
appointment request to make sure that they
do.
Anyone who does not follow your instructions
will get no response from you. Those who do -
you will set up a time to see if they are a
right fit for you in your business.
You’re interviewing them NOT the other way
around.
Think of yourself as a detective actively
looking for signs of weakness. When they show
these signs, you bail and tell them they are
not ready and you simply move on to the next
appointment.
Most home business entrepreneurs get this
backwards. They are so desperate for someone
to join their business they appear desperate.
Well, you appear desperate & you’ve given away
your control of the situation plus you
repel your future leaders.
Always remember this is YOUR business. You
fill it with ONLY the people you want to be a
part of it and reject all the rest.
Once you make recruiting about - YOU rejecting -
them you’ll have people jumping through hoops
to get involved.
Follow this simple system and you’ll be
surprised at what you can do with a few free
leads, but realize this is only ONE of many ways
to recruit. Before I share more let me know

I met a young woman yesterday who’s name I
won’t reveal, but who’s story I will.
Her and I where having a personal
consultation in which I was sharing some of
the most critical components to her success
online when she told me about her past.
I asked her “How did you ever found this
crazy online business world anyways?”
She replied with “I was watching an
infomercial”
I immediately knew which one it was when she
told me about it. She ended up buying a
website from that infomercial that cost her
almost $10,000, that, if I may say so myself,
was crap.
I was surprised what people will do in the
name of making a buck and this was about as
bad as it gets, but her attitude towards it
is what was most shocking.
She didn’t complain and boo hoo about how
someone had scammed her and done her wrong.
Nope. Instead she was grateful.
Why?
In her own words . . .
“Had I not been through that I wouldn’t have
found you Daegan.”
This is the mark of champion. Not all lessons
learned in business are pleasant ones, but
all are growth experiences.
Your business is always growing. We like to
think of it like a machine, but in reality
business is more like a living organism that
reacts and grows to it’s environment.
Sometimes it will be very apparent that it’s
growing fast, at other times you won’t notice
it, but at all times it is growing.
In fact, the only time your business isn’t
growing is when it’s dead.
This young lady saw her experience as one of
growths.
One that was putting her on the path to
future success and she held no malice towards
that experience.
In the most certain of terms she told me
“I will be successful Daegan.”
So stern was her resolve, that it actually
gave me chills. I knew at the moment, hearing
that passion, that drive, that there is no
force in this world that can stop her and her
long term success truly only is a matter of
time.
These lessons are the important ones. I hope
you’re listening in.
I too found my way into this crazy online
world via an infomercial. I too bought into
the crazy hype and spent money on things that
showed no return except the most important
type - experience.
I was told if I just starred at my computer
long enough money would start pouring out. As
silly as this seems, on an important level I
believed and began to do just that.
It is of the strongest traits to have on the
path to success.
To believe and put your money on the line. At
times you will be burnt, but in the long run
you will always find your way.
The attitude you choose to take to those not
so pleasant experiences is what will define
your future.
If you want the floodgates of wealth to open
up to you . . .
If you want to skyes to open and checks to
pour out. Take a stab, grow, take another
stab, learn the important lesson and soon you
will be on your way.
Some stabs are larger than others. $10,000 is
a lot to take on the cheek and keep going.
I’ve felt that sting. That feeling where you
don’t know where the next dollar is coming
from and you feel silly for spending the last
$20 and . . . .

Just a few words that will save you a lot of
time and frustration but it’s up to you with
what you do with them.
A couple of days ago I was listening in on
one of my good friend Joe’s live prospecting
training calls (an area I’m weak in), and it
was one of the best training calls of it’s
kind I’d ever been on, and here’s why that’s
important to you . . .
The lesson I’m about to share will translate
into you recruiting more people more
effortlessly regardless of whether or not you
ever decide to use the phone or just do it
all online like I do, so pay close attention.
I’m always amazed when I hear a good phone
prospector do their thing with leads.
As I listened to Joe do his thing with his
prospects, the FIRST thing he would ask is
“Do you remember me?” and each and every
prospect knew exactly who he was before he
ever picked up the phone.
What happens when that happens? You’re the
expert. You’re in control. You’re NOT some
person cold calling them with no idea where
they came from.
The all remembered opting in to learn more
about Joe personally - i.e. he’s wasn’t
calling purchased leads.
So, when he called it was more of a welcome
surprise than a pitch.
Each of those prospects felt that they were
spending time with an expert and so when Joe
spoke they listened. But, this isn’t amount
calling leads, this point is important, but
NOT what we’re here to discuss right now.
Here’s what is . . .
On that call, Joe would take certainly
liberties with some prospects that he
wouldn’t with others.
For instance, some prospects he had no
problem cutting off in the middle of a
sentence to bring them back to his line of
questioning. Others he’d hang back and take a
more cautious approach.
Now the important question is “why?”
I’ll tell it wasn’t because he wanted to show
off . . .
Quite the opposite - it was because he
instinctually knew their personality types
and knew the best way to get through to that
unique person.
At the end of each call, he’d explain what
type of a person he had just spoken to, and
why he took the approach he did - Important
and professional to do in a training
situation.
Here’s what you need to know, and if you get
this . . .
Your personal persuasion power will increase
several fold.
Not everyone is the same. You can’t get your
message across to everyone in the way that it
would normally be impactful to you. It’s not
about you, it’s about them.
Here’s how this plays out online . . .
Some people need to be challenged, so as
you’ll notice in some of my emails I’ll
challenge you now and then.
Some people need to have fun, so as you’ll
notice sometimes I’ll discuss the more fun
things involved with your online business.
Some people need to see the numbers, so as
you’ll notice sometimes I’ll just roll
through the numbers.
Some people need to know you care about them,
and as you’ll notice very often I’ll speak
about a question that came up and or ask for
feedback.
Maybe you didn’t notice this, but you will
now.
Why do I do it?
Because you may be like me or you may not,
but I know the information that I share daily
with you can impact and drastically change
your life - so I gotta make sure it hits home
(hint . . . so do you.)
I know I’m not talking to me.
I’m talking to you and for me to get through
to you, we gotta discuss different angles,
different perspectives, different motives,
and different motivations, and a lot more

Seems pretty self evident, but let me tell
you briefly why this is important by sharing
a recent experience I had . . .
Not too long ago I was checking out websites
on the net and opted into a few mailing
lists.
This time must have been special because the
next 3 days I got about 20 calls from people
who couldn’t tell me where they got my name,
but they ALL somehow knew I was someone
interested in starting a business (because I
happened across some page and opted in).
The first couple calls were nostalgic and
reminded me of the drudgery I once endured,
but the 20th call was more than a little
annoying.
Each person that “bought” me as a lead paid
the same price, didn’t know what I was really
interested in doing, and had to deal with 19
other people calling me trying to get me to
buy some website or scheme.
If you’re buying leads all your doing is
making life harder for yourself because
you’re basically paying to create competition
for you, who, if they’re selling hot air,
will quickly shade the mind of your prospect
in a not so positive light towards anyone
calling them about anything opportunity
related.
All you’re doing is making things tougher for
yourself when you do this. So don’t.
That brings up the next point . . .
#2: Get Your Own Leads
Another short story to illustrate why:
Literally 2 minutes after I generated my
first lead, up popped my first new recruit
along with it.
I was away at work when it happened, but when
I checked the time lag between the
notification emails for new leads and new
sign ups for my company the lag was less than
2 minutes - that’s how I knew.
There I was, after previously having bought
thousands of dollars of worthless leads and
spent countless hours getting rejected by
them - spending $40 on a cheap ad and having
people auto recruit themselves into my
business.
I’m not a fast learner all the time, but I
picked up on this one pretty quick.
Knowing that I now had a choice between
burning my money on generic leads like the
rest of world and wasting time calling them
or getting my own and . . . knowing the
results of that, I’m choosing option #2 every
time.
But here’s why it’s so much more powerful get
your own leads.
You’re the only one that has access to them,
so competition is zilch, they have expressed
interest in exactly what you had to offer, so
you know they’re not generic. MOST important,
you control the interactions with them
thereafter.
Some may join on the spot, but now either
following up via email or on the phone with
these NON generic leads in a competition
vacuum you’ll pull in even more results over
time.
Now I can’t share everything right now, but
I’ll share one more important lesson I’ve
learned and prospered by . . .
#3: Make Money Now No Matter What
In network marketing and the h0me business
arena we’re always taught to build the
organization to create a long term annuity
and to retail our company’s product or
service to earn the everyday bread and butter
money that keeps our business afloat and
moving forward.
In a word . . . IMPORTANT!
There are economic concerns involved with
every business no matter if it’s in the home
business arena or not, and this one is of the
utmost importance.
Here’s why . . .
When you’re starting out money is always
going to be more scarce a commodity than it
is once you have some momentum going.
It’s exceedingly important, at the beginning,
that for every dollar you spend you do
anything and everything in your power to put
it back in your pocket as soon as possible.
What causes most network marketers to fail
early on is running out of cash before there
business can pay for itself.
If you’re new your immediate and most
important concern MUST be to earn your

Every now and then I get a comment from
someone who decided to pick up a copy of my
free cd saying something like “I hope this
one actually works and isn’t just hype and
hot air like all the rest.”
And when I see this, to be honest, I chuckle a
little bit for two reasons.
First, I’m happy that the person decided to
take the leap of faith despite past failures
and second, because when I go back and check
my genealogy reports against what I share on
that cd I again realize, it ain’t hype.
Each and everyday I check my numbers there
are more people there than the pervious day.
What I did to create that sort of ongoing
growth is the exact methodology on the free
cd, so it ain’t hype.
But the truth is, if a person picks up the cd
and listens to it and says “that’s good to
know” well nothing is going to happen.
You have to take information, implement it as
quickly as possible, and let your results be
the ultimate judge. In other words, you have
to be a doer not a looker.
And . . .
You have to give it some time. I was speaking
with one of my mentors yesterday and he told
me something incredibly telling I’ll share
with you. It lended great insight into my own
business and I believe will expand your
perspective in the same way.
See this guy is an insane marketer in the
same light as I and one thing he’s incredibly
fanatical about is the MATH behind it all.
He placed a small ad in an online publication
that for months he thought he had wasted his
money on. But looked back at month 10 to see
he had doubled his money.
Now if he wasn’t so fanatical about the
numbers he would have gauged the ad a
complete failure and never thought to use
that media again, but because he IS fanatical
about the numbers he discovered a HUGE
success where others would see failure.
So the lesson is, you have to learn,
implement, then keep track of the numbers
over the long haul, what may appear on the
surface as not the best of a success over
time can prove a huge success.
You can’t take to your business a philosophy
of microwave results - that’s not how to world
works. If you can just have a little patience
you’ll discover HUGE wins that would
initially appear as failures.
On the CD, it ain’t hype, but if you expect
massive results from yourself if you’re
starting from square one instantly you’re
always going to set yourself up for failure,
call GOOD profitable strategies hype, and
always be looking for the greener pasture
when you’re already sitting in it.
But . . .
At the same time I understand being
skeptical. If you don’t know me, why should
you trust me? So it’s completely
understandable . . .
That’s why on my site I’ve created the King’s
