Last night while conducting our regularly
scheduled training call for Power Prospecting
System my partner Mike said something I’d
never heard before.
So powerful and so true . . .
You’ve got to understand a few things about
Mike before I tell you what he said. This guy
has been in the home business industry for
over 17 years. He was growing large teams
back when there was no internet.
He was that guy sitting in the Diner late night
drawing out compensation plans on napkins to
grow his business.
Today he’s one of the foremost experts in the
world on network marketing systems. He’s been
the secret weapon behind some of the
internets top funded proposal system, team
systems, and even full network marketing
company system.
To say Mike knows network marketing industry
from all angles would be an understatement.
That’s why when he was talking about how
important it is learn the skill of lead
generation for yourself because if you don’t
“you’ll forever be enslaved to the lead
companies” . . .
It hit me kinda hard.
Sometimes other people put the words together
better than you can yourself. This was one of
those cases.
I immediately thought back . . . “What if I
hadn’t mastered lead generation?”
Would I really still be back buying and
calling leads?
The answer that hit me like a ton of bricks
was yes. I’d have no other option. I’d be
spending $500 to $700 a month on leads only
to still be getting rejected and maybe
recruit someone while putting little to no
money back in my pocket.
That was a little more than three years ago.
Let’s just say to keep the math simple that’s
40 months ago. 40 X $700 is $28,000 out of my
pocket straight into the pocket of some lead
company.
I’d probably be more than bankrupt at this
point. Unless you’ve got almost $30,000 to
throw away consider you training on
generating leads yourself mission critical.
