I’m Freaking Pissed Off
I just got back from a coaching session with
some of the best marketers in the world, and
I come home to see that one of my websites is
down.
This is fine, things happen in business, and
these days I pretty much expect the
unexpected, that’s not what I’m pissed about.
It’s this . . .
And, if you’re easily offended, simply choose
not to read this message, as I do stand a
fair chance of offending a few people
tonight.
Here’s what’s got my piping mad.
The emails I get from people. Most people
want to be losers and babies.
I don’t have enough money or time to do this
or that. I don’t have a big name so how can I
be like you. I don’t know how to use the
internet so I can’t make this work. Wah Wah
Wah all the way home.
SO WHAT.
Too many fledgling marketers want to hide
behind something.
They proactively look for ways to be big
losers.
They find an excuse for why they could fail
at this or that, so that when the going gets
a little tougher than they’d like it to be,
they have an easy out.
You can’t have it both ways.
You either want it, and give ALL you got to
get it or you whine and complain about how
you’re going to fail.
No one that succeeds was born with a success
spoon in their mouth, especially in the
network marketing arena, so just because you
may not have a big list, or you may not have
a big budget it in NO way means the WORLD is
against you or you’re destined to fail.
If you want it, go get it. It’s as simple as
that.
Here’s what I mean . . .
I’ve spoken to people that will tell me that
they want “it” to work, but they don’t have
any money so they don’t think it will.
That’s fine, money DOES NOT matter.
There are free ways and there are more ways
than a few to make money to get your business
going, but NONE of it is going to be magic.
One young lady told me she wanted to start
for free and I said that’s fine.
I gave here a specific step by step plan for
using free article to generate traffic and
leads. I told her to get to work and let me
know if she had any questions.
In this plan, I told her to write a certain
number of articles a day in a very specific
way that would guarantee her traffic for free
that would convert well and to distribute
those articles to the SAME specific list of
best sites I use.
I literally gave her the secret sauce.
What happens?
I asked her to check in and she didn’t.
I gave her a call to see what was going on,
and she said she hadn’t found the time to get
started.
This is what I’m talking about. Complaint
after complaint. I don’t have money, so let’s
go free. Fine, I give her the plan. More than
a week later she says I “didn’t have time”.
If you want to see a formula for automatic
failure you just saw it. But let me spell it
out for you . . .
Step 1: Start a business with the RIGHT person
Step 2: Complain
Step 3: Have the experienced person give you
a game plan
Step 4: Do nothing and come up with an excuse
for you did nothing
Step 5: Repeat
You either gotta put in the work or you gotta
have money starting from scratch. That’s
business in general and it’s no surprise, or
at least you’d think . . .
There is more wealth out there for you, more
abundant opportunity sitting right in front
of you right now than you can imagine. For
most that don’t get it, it’s NOT because it’s
NOT there it’s because there is something
about ACTUALLY getting it that scares them.
Failure is a choice, not an inevitable
outcome and the unfortunate truth is many
choose to fail and then find ways to complain
about it.
Don’t do this.
It’s not about pipe dreams, this is a real
business you’re getting yourself into. Don’t
waste your time if you’re not serious.
Understand that you can start from scratch,
you can have no money, you can know not a
thing about the internet or network marketing
or business and still make all the money in
the world if you know no failure.
And all failure is, is fearing you’re going to
let yourself down and then doing it. There is
nothing to fear, there is nothing you can’t
do.
