How I Get Over 2673 Leads Per Day And You Can Too - No Bullshit

Today I want to share with you a simple
secret you can use to generate as many leads
as you so choose even if you’re sitting on
the red sand beaches of the Greek Isles as I
was last week.

Focus in . . .

What I have to share with you builds on
yesterday’s debate on system.

If you have not yet read or taken part in
that debate you should do so before
proceeding. You should do that know by
clicking here and then return after reading
and sharing your thoughts.

Now, I know you probably are feeling a good
deal of skepticism about all this, so I’m not
the type to create a picture of massive lead
generation while hanging out in the
Mediterranean with providing proof, so let
share this . . .

Below you’ll see for the date of Nov. 10th
that 2674 leads were generated.

2674 day leads proof, massive daily leads

I was away in Greece from the 4th of November
to the 18th. So, what this proves is lead
generation is something that does NOT have to
require effort . . .

So, the BIG question is “HOW” did I do it
without being there, and how can you REALLY do
it too.

At some point in my business my ideas about
lead generation shifted, and it was this
shift that I think carries the major insight
that can help you take your own lead
generation to the next level.

When I first started online I learned about
things like safelists and traffic exchange as
a means of lead generation.

I probably gravitated towards them because
they seemed powerful, but more important they
were free and simple to understand.

So I jumped in and started clicking away in
traffic exchanges so I could earn credits to
have people see my site in exchange.

I opened a new yahoo email account and signed
up for hundreds of safelists and started
blasting out my message everyday and getting
3000+ emails a day in my new email account in
return.

I even took the safelist thing so fare as to
buy software that helped me send my stuff out
in a more organized fashion.

And . . .

Every now and then I’d get a lead, and it
was exciting every time I did.

After about six months of this I had probably
generated a little more than a hundred leads,
but when I looked at the time I spent, i.e.
six months of clicking and sending and
getting thousands of emails in return I
realized the time cost was too high.

So I began to explore new ways to get more
leads with less time expended. I looked to
things like article marketing, newsletter
marketing, and pay per click marketing.

In fact, these are some of the same lead
systems I use to this day, but . . .

Then something happened subtlety inside my
concept of what lead generation was that took
things to the next level.

This change had to do with systems.

In my yearly development before I was able to
generate 200 or more leads per day I always
tied my lead generation to immediate profit.

I had a little voice in the back of my mind
that you may have as well that said “If I
don’t make money now I’ll go broke and out of
business”

So I spent more time than I should have
trying to find the “perfect leads”.

There are some there, but today I want to
share something that will put you on a
better path than searching for perfect
leads.

At some point I can’t quite put my finger I
had a major break thru that first led to
peak lead days of 500 to 700 leads, and now
over 2673, and I’m sure in the near future
I’ll be reporting back 5,000 to 10,000 lead
days on autopilot.

The idea that laid the foundation for this
lead generation breakthrough was a two part
breakthrough . . .

1. The 80/20 rule which states 80% of your
results come from 20% of your efforts. With
truly internalizing this idea I realized
chasing the perfect lead was a limiting
activity at best, so I changed my idea from
where can I get the perfect lead to where can
I get the most leads with the least amount of
my personal effort.

This led to changes in where and how I
generated exposure.

2. Systems - Systems should be simple and do
their one unique job well on their own. Prior,
I tried to force my systems to do to much. I
wanted my lead generation systems to do more
than get leads. I wanted them to get leads
and convert them into recruits and profits as
well.

This may be a mistake you’re making now.

When I made the switch to keeping my lead
generation systems as simple systems who’s
only job was to bring leads in the door lead
flow went up.

Then I created separate systems for
recruiting and for profiting after the lead
was generated.

One system got leads, another got
conversions.

This is a subtle, but powerful mental shift.

Systems should be simple and should
accomplish one thing. Power and compounding
leverage is gained through interlinking
simple systems that accomplish their singular
job well.

If you start to think in this manner, if you
start to create simple systems that work
together but each having a singular purpose
you will prosper at a new level.

When it comes to leads . . .

If you keep your leads systems as simple lead
systems and focus your efforts on creating
them by thinking through the lens of the
80/20 principle you will be on your way to
generating thousands of leads per day.

But why question for debate today is . . .

    Keeping systems to accomplish one goal is absolutely the way to go. The term I have heard is keeping things “granular” and by focusing your efforts towards one very particular thing at a time, and focusing your efforts towards that, things begin to compound and eventually take off. There are tons of good lead generation “systems” out there….PPC, Ezine Ads, Article Marketing, Web 2.0, etc.

    What you are saying makes perfect sense however I think its unrealistic to believe someone can generate 2673 leads in one day without spending a substantial amount of money on marketing. To that regard are all those leads personally generated by you only? If so what did that cost, what do you expect your ROI to be and how long will it take to realize that amount of money.

    Daegan: Great concept - too many marketers look at the short term profit and forget about the long term gain. Just like in Network Marketing - those that you personally sponsor (your first level people) create a smaller income %, but those that enter your organization 4 - 5 - 6 levels down create a larger % of income. Connecting your systems to each other creates different levels of income - from smaller to larger.

    Great questions again. I agree that keeping systems to a singular purpose, or “granular” as Kurt stated, is definitely an important key. I hate to admit that some of the methods (I won’t call them “systems” based on our previous discussion!) are more in line with what you did in your early days — safelists, traffic exchanges, etc. And, as you pointed out, I do feel that I’m spending far too much time for far too little results. But, I have also been wasting my efforts by not separating out the functions. I haven’t been trying to capture any of those leads (at least not many, I actually did build a small mailing list with one of the links I promoted), but rather have been trying to sell them immediately on too many business options.

    So, the changes I will make are, first and foremost, develop landing pages that are specifically directed to ONLY capturing the lead and plugging them into my automated response system. Second, I’m going to wean myself off of the hours of clicking every day, and shift my focus to more of the lasting techniques (article marketing, blogging, developing follow up emails, etc.).

    Wow! I printed this out to study and remind myself of the concept of creating singular sytems that have a single objective and then interlinking them to work in harmony. I guess it’s analagous to car parts. Individually they’re considered to be just parts but correctly joined together they form an automobile also known as a vehicle.

    Great, conceptually I get that but it’s the coversion part that I’m shaky on. I can imagine a few things that could be done to qualify these “leads,” one of them being creating a lead filter that would move them through the qualifying process but constructing it from scratch is a little tricky because there’s so many components you could use.

    I agree and believe it’s possible to generate a ton of leads with laser-like precision but converting them while being gone for two weeks on vacation is what I want to find out.

    I have been marketing one of your systems for a while.
    It has a simple Lead Capture Page, and this works great!

    In the past I have tried to market webpages that had a lot of info for the prospect and even though I was driving a lot of traffic to those websites everyday for almost 4 months I only got a handful of people to leave their info and not one of them converted into a sale.

    The system you have put together that I’m marketing now are more like what you were explaining.

    It is actually a conglamorate of systems that are tied together, but each does its own job.
    One captures leads, the other builds a relationship, another sells the prospect, yet another upgrades the sale!

    It works great and because it is a system that uses a self-funded proposal… I never have a cost per lead… I actualy make money on the leads even if a mayority of the prospects/leads don’t buy my main product/opportunity. This is quite different to what was happening when I directed people to the other website!

    Thanks for this training… It has reminded me how come your systems work so well!
    I guess not all ’systems’ are created equal!

    This concept of separate components doing individual tasks that contribute to a greater whole, not only makes alot of sense, but is how most things that work optimally in life happen.
    Consider the parts of a car or the individual pieces of a high end audio system ( versus integrated components that serve multiple purposes), and you will soon see that this concept always holds true.
    Having said that, my main obstacle, being a newbie, is taking what I know to be true in theory and implementing it in a consistant way that fits into my time available and my budget.

    Whatever it takes, I am doing it, I just need the numbers and where to focus.

    The truth is, I am generating url click throughs, but they are not creating conversions.

    I have been studying the industry strong for about 3 years, and have generated only about 2,000 dollars (give or take a few).

    I have invested about 9,000 dollars over the past few years.

    What I want to know is how do you create the conversion from View to Lead and then from lead to sign-up?

    I am really tired of spending money on these training programs, and wonder if I should just spend my money on testing and trying different advertising mediums and lead providers.

    I am being silly now, but it seems as if many of the leads I buy are worthless, and even the click thrus’ I get thru’ article marketing, blogging and social networking sites do not convert.

    Anyway, I know I will succeed. And I know that I don’t get to know how long it will take to reach my goal, but I am okay with the process, now.

    As a matter of fact, I will never give up, and I will continue to invest in this business, because I know WHAT I HAVE TO RETURN TO, if I give up.

    Great discussions. I think that Daegan has a great system and it appears to work for him and others that are using it.. And I do believe that systems should do individual things…I have a great system that I am using and it’s called Email on Steroids (EMOS)it brings in all the leads and tracks the opened emails as well as the clicks on my website………I have also P.M. Dialer..that calls the leads and gives them the option of opt-in or out or DNC (DNC)……So it sorts the leads and only those that are interested are the one’s that I have to qualify for my business…It saves me time and it manages all the leads for me…I can make notes within the system under the leads name and to me it is fantastic…Doesn’t cost a lot of money. All I do each month is put minutes on the dialer and set it to start and stop calling……..It pretty unique.. I am about 4 years into Consumer Direct Marketing…..Love it and love talking to people as well…..I am a social worker by profession…I do like talking to the right people and the PM Dialer helps with that…So, find the system that works for you and have the posture that you know that you know that it is the best system for you. Another thing that is so great about my system is it has a PM notify and it notifies me with a sound on my computer whenever someone is visiting my website WAY COOL!! CYA, Sylvia

    A. I agree with you to a point. I was looking at systems as being complete only if they had the following components built in:

    => Landing/Capture Page…
    => Up Front Funded Proposal…
    => Follow-up Emails…
    => Back-End Product or Products…
    => Primary Business.

    Now that you have explained it that way, I can see where each part of the big system would be a system within itself. Each part designed to do a specific duty; however, they all work together to create a whole complex system.

    The Quantum Wealth System, Magnetic Sponsoring and a few other small systems that I created just using a landing page, a thank you page that provide links to some affiliate programs and an email follow-up series. These were created to get optins, although they have resulted into some sales.

    No.

    *And what changes will you make now to improve the flow of your business?

    Before I even think of upgrading my personal systems, I need to get my marketing to the point where I’m making more sales and sign-ups in the systems that I’m presently using. For BRANDING purposes I need to create a story first, right?

    I am in the process of creating a report that I can use as an upfront incentive to attract prospects to my landing pages. I will continue to use email follow-up from my auto-responder for now.

    Holy crap! so much info, and i’m sinking in it! I just started my home based business a week ago, i really like the idea, the products, but i have no clue where and how should i start. I really feel like going out and passing out flyers and business cards to people, ain’t gonna do ****, but, how and where do i start? All this stuff you are all here talking about, it’s so new and confusing to me, that i’m staring at this screen and pulling my hair off. And here i stand, with a list of almost 10000 leads, that by the way i did not purchase, and have absolutely no idea what to do with it! I am sooo lost….!     By getting that course…how much other stuff that you offer daily is missing from that program ? I mean in the 2 courses you sent us there are a total of 11 discs. Man It’s gonna take some more time to get through it all.
