I understand what you are saying … but I also understand what everyone
else is saying.

I will share my view from both sides and why I believe Daegan`s decision to get his information
out to his target audience in this way should be more than appreciated. This doesn`t mean I blindly
agree with all marketers who use this method to get people to invest in their goods ( Because
the ” value ” that they provide may not outweigh the price they ask you to pay, even if it is “only the shipping & handling ” ) No matter what, sales promotion can lead anyone to believe the wrong thing if not careful. ( Research!! )

Ok, lets say we know each other and for whatever reason you needed to borrow some money from me
(say like $10,000 )and I agreed to send it to you by mail, but you had to cover the cost of delivery, would you allow that to stand in the way of you getting the money? ( I would hope not, if you really need it! )

In this way I understand this aspect of the ” funded proposal thingy ” what Daegan is doing ( only
in the example I gave, you would have to ” pay me back” :), but what he`s offering is ” FREE ” Plus BONUSES!!!)
Talk about getting something for nothing, this makes the shipping & handling cost of $6.77 pale in the face of the value this FREE cd / bonus pack offers you. He could have charged for the value of the product and the shipping & handling, but he didn`t. ( In that respect we should count our blessings ) … But as I said, I do understand where you`re coming from … Let me now comment
on that.

Remember I said it should be more than appreciated when a marketer offers something of high value for FREE, asks you to pay for the shipping & handling? Ok, what bothered me was ” HOW ” this is
done. Some sales page would say *FREE and have you believing there is ” NO COST ” when if you read more carefully, you would see * ( the asterisk symbol). And finding what *FREE actually is then, might be somewhat difficult because it`s very small or obscure print ( as if they didn`t want you to know ) and the other way you find out about the shipping & handling is on the ” Order Page” NOTE: Some marketers do tell us up front about the s & h , but because of use of the word ” FREE ” , we overlook the fact ” there is a cost” in which we automatically think they are charging us for the product itself ( not really, just delivery ) … Which leads me to this question or should I say discovery …

A lot of these FREE products could be spared the shipping & handling cost if they were ” digital products. ” This is the usual way marketers have tried to minimize this cost … but there is another reason ( in which I think is the ” main reason ” ) why some marketers choose this kind of system ( again called the ” funded proposal system ” ) is; they`re in business to make a profit, not a loss. You can really lose a lot of money advertising & marketing the traditional way. So, in order to make any sales you NEED customers, so what better way to strengthen your chances of getting sales than to ONLY deal with people who can express a ” willingness to purchase ” ? And what better way for them to express their ” willingness to purchase ” than to pay for shipping & handling? Again, I see nothing wrong with this … it`s just a better system ( way ) for us marketers to ” create income in the process of growing our internet home-based business ” <– I got the above understanding from tuning in to Daegan Smith.

And Daegan, you have obviously defined for us the meaning of what it`s like to have
a system that is effective … but I have even a greater question …

What makes one person ” USE ” a system more effectively than another person -
even when they`re using the same system? Is it because of who they are ( their personality)?
or some combination of other factors?

Anyway, that`s why I`m here to learn more about your system, and exactly how you are able to
produce such extraordinary income WITHOUT all the grunt work.

This is a system. It will work as well as any provided who you are ‘being’ is what who you are talking with wants what you got. However you find leads (one notch above suspects - everyone)is one thing. How you relate to them is another. Turning leads into prospects and prospects into contacts and contacts into teammates is about YOU. The more the system rerpesents who you are the more likely the time required to relate with the contact is reduced. Ultimately people will join you based on you not on your system. Work on you first. The ’system’ you use can be as expensive and as complicated as you desire to assist in finding the best prospects.

Internet Network Marketing is all about duplication. Daegan’s system works when applied. I work for a network marketing company also and I having to learn to step outside of the world of the internet and get back to meeting people on the streets. But in my company, the “system” obviously works because there are too many people who have created financial independence who are living proof.

Most of the people who complain about a system not working are usually people who are expecting an overnight miracle.

I have to agree with Phil. Not every system works for everyone. But you won’t know that until you get out and try. The keyword is TRY. I personally prefer internet marketing to traditional network marketing but I believe in myself and my abilities to be successful at any system that I try. It’s all about building the confidence in yourself to know that you can do it.

You guys are the kind of people that I stay away from who I would never allow in my “mastermind group”. I no longer deal with negative influences and none of you should for that matter. I have learned to take accountability for myself and I am the ONLY block from my success.

Some of you guys will sit up here and spew a bunch of bs about him but look at all the HUNDREDS of people who he has coached and mentored who are making a 5-figure monthly income. You sure don’t hear them complaining. In fact I run into people all the time online who praise this man for their success. Get off his back and look at yourselves and hold yourselves accountable for your failures and successes.

He has provided the blueprint CLEARLY in his material. My question to those of you blatantly hatin’ is are you following it? Or are you sitting around waiting for you and the universe to come into “perfect alignment” to move forward? If you complainers are sitting back waiting for that to happen then let me let you all in on a little secret… IT AIN’T HAPPENIN’!

Time waits for no one. I don’t profess to be this bad ass internet marketer but I will say that Daegan is the first person who actually showed that he gave a damn about his students and he has helped me from just one conference call begin the process of changing my mindset about how I see myself in relationship to my business. How many times have we been told that Internet Network Marketing is 95% mental the other 5% is physical. Well it’s true.

It seems like some of you need to get a life coach, read Think And Grow Rich and grow some balls and stop looking for someone to babysit your path to success. Daegan is about creating leaders not followers. It’s clear in reading this blog that some of you have already decided what position you are in. But its not too late to change.

I’m glad I took the “right pill” and I’m on my way to the top.
