		<description>hi Daegan and everybody else,

Interesting tactic, Daegan. Have you ever thought of teaching 13 year olds? All joking aside, I am somewhat serious about that in the sense that you are a good teacher-possibly great, but I've never been able to listen to any phone or web seminars-I'm 4 hours later in Alaska and usually still at work when the seminars begin.

The best teachers I have had are the ones who are barely aware they are "teaching",the tricks of the trade come naturally, and to most students, don't seem to be tricks. I took 3 extra sadistics (statistics) classes above and beyond the call of duty because the teacher was one of the best I have ever had in any subject. Anybody who can make stats seem easy and enjoyable has got to be good. OMG! I was tricked into learning the most feared class on any college campus!

You have the ability to make people think-which is what the goal of every teacher should be, not just the imparting of their wisdom-and that is rare. Are you sure you don't want to teach 7th grade? I'll bet you could even get a 13 yr old to think and in my experience as teacher and mother of a couple-one former and one current-13 yr olds, they don't want to think. "Just tell me what to do, Mom, I asked you for help didn't I?" so says my current 13. Getting people to think takes tricks sometimes, we all have a tendency to be 13 still, once in a while, "just tell me what to do, just tell me what to think". It is easier, I suppose, but, as in math, the learning is not in the final answer but in the getting there. I've explained to kids over and over-and adults when I was teaching college chem.-math is a process, not a true false situation.

I wish I could have heard Kevin and you talk, and read the anonymous Hater afterwards. I would have puzzled for awhile, probably, why he was so negative about the seminar, which means I would have replayed the talk in my head for a while, thought it over, tried to see it in the other perspective, tried to see what he was hearing that I didn't-in the long run, learning. All the thinking it over, seeing from other perspectives, wondering, questioning, well, that is essentially a great learning process,and one good teachers try to get students of all ages to do. And see how easy you make it seem! You are getting 50, 60 or more responses to your blogs, by people who are listening and thinking. Even the ones who don't agree with you, they are thinking "I don't agree, why don't I, why do they, are they seeing something I'm not and if so what is it, or am I seeing something they aren't. Either way, you get us thinking and questioning.

Much appreciated in this day-to be taught to think for ourselves. thank the goddess that 13 yr old eventually grow up!

Thanks,Daegan,
Lilly

		<description>Hi Daegan,

You're very welcome! Ah... I'm
just glad that you enjoyed it
because I've totally enjoyed
the little conversation.

Quotes are everywhere - mine
just happen to be in Chinese &#38;
I've merely translated them :)

Daegan, I happen to be working
with Jaz right now - just
thought that you might be
interested to know that.

Also, you've given me and many
others lots to think about with
the great information that
you've been pumping out over &#38;
over again in your emails.

It's never ceases to amaze me
how you can always pump out
great information again and
again in such regular fashion.

It's like you have an eager
child within you that finds
the gems of wisdom that people
like me tend to skim over
because we're "grown up".

And I think that's why you've
been able to reach your level
of success because of your
constant willingness to learn
even though you've already
succeeded in so many ways we
wish to achieve.

		<description>Asher,

See what I'm saying. Your quote carries heavy wisdom that could be debated for days. Hence the value and a point of validation for having these little debates on the blog.

I gotta stop and thing about that little quote. I've never heard it and it's already given me a perspective. Thank you.

To the top,

		<description>Hi Daegan,

I wasn't expecting a blog post with
my name in it, that's for sure ;)
And you've sure made my day!

Here's my responses...

===================
"If you’ve taken part in our recent blog
debates have you learned more from me
proactively asking you to share and seeing
what perspectives others have shared?"
====================
I have taken part - but when there's so
many voices in the blog debates, it's hard
to hear everybody &#38; respond to each one.

I'm always learning... either actively
or subtlely. I believe the key is merely
paying attention and revising it. I love
reading the responses on your blog and
from your emails because there's so many
people here sharing their life lessons in
very subtle ways.

====================
"If you haven’t taken part, have you had new
insights by following along?"
====================
Definitely, there's a saying about
chess that fits aptly where I live...
(I'm translating it rawly) -
'While the chess players are confused,
the observer is clear.'

That's why observers aren't supposed to
talk &#38; chip in when the players are
engaged in battle.

And if the chess players make a move
that confuses or stumps the observer,
it's a chance for the observer to learn
some new strategies or moves.

I just happened to have exposed your
tactic when I chipped in ;)

		<description>Amelia Ramey, a swipe file is proven and tested advert or sales letter. For example, I'm going to do a sales letter but why should I re-invent the wheel when the masters have done it already, and I can look at how they wrote their sales letter, their heading, or for this case, their email, see what got me to this blog, see what words used, and then use it for my sales letter, and just change it around a bit, to go with my sales letter, or my email I send to people etc.

That's what some don't get. They just don't see what luck has come knocking on their door. Talk about opportunity slapping people in face and they don't see it lol.

I used swipe file when I was designing magazine adverts or for newspapers. All experts would not go and re-invent the wheel. They'd get all magazines, newspapers, look at what worked, and use that and just change the wording a little for their own message.

So ask yourself Amelia, how did you get here? Was it the heading on Daegan, was it the way he hooked you in with the message in that email juicy email to get you coming here and debating? Was it the blog as well? What was it it.

Stand back, look at what he's doing because what he is doing now, through all process, is he is teaching it anyway, for free. The whole damn system is slap, bang, in middle, on people's faces e.g.

1. System

2. Email auto responder

3. Message copy

4. Blog

etc etc

Keep going Daegan with your emails.</description>
