I totally agree with using this method for recruiting. That's assuming that it is top tier, or or at least a higher level company with a decent autoship quota. For lower payout companies I think it is best to go for the numbers. But that is just me. I don't recruit in person, and I spend much more time working on top tier than your ordinary mlm.

I can't speak for those implementing the 3 foot rule for recruiting. I don't bother with that, but those type techniques put the power in the other corner. So trying to tell everyone you see about your opportunity and then getting picky when they talk about signing up doesn't make muck sense to me. This, in my opinion is a top tier technique, but, if you are creative with your sales approach and do not try to recruit until after a product sale, then you could use this approach with prospects obtained through traditional methods.

Hi Daegan

I just wanted to pop on as I have recruited 4 people in the last 9 days all online.
I have had to put a UK twist on things as the trust is not here in the UK as it is in the USA but without your laying the path I would not have even continued as your blueprint to online recruiting kept my faith. I have used some of your generic Free techniques plus my own UK findings.

Thanks again for your invaluable help up to now.

As days have gone by ... I`ve had the chance to see CLEARLY
some things that did not come out at the time I originally posted.

Here is one - " my conclusion of the C.H. Letter " and Mike Dillard`s
response to my comments ( post #55 )where he said, " Dave, you’re making an uninformed conclusion."

I just want to clear this up for anyone who might read this.

My conclusions were based on the Letter itself - the web copy,
and not an actual knowledge of Mike`s GPT program. So, somewhere he must
have thought I was referring to his GPT program when I was making my
comments on what I read.

It`s the message of the CHL I was reacting to ( through the eyes of a new lead ), NOT Mr. Dillard or his program, for I haven`t seen or heard of his GPT program.( I`ve heard of him, used his materials, and still think of him as one of the top mentor / marketer / businessman in this industry )
It`s just when I reread the CHL, based on our original thread discussion, I concluded it`s not realistic for the average person who never generated $1 on the internet to all of a sudden think he`d ” Get paid a year or more worth of residuals on Day One " )

NOTICE: I DID`T say it`s unrealistic for ANYONE to GPT ( Get Paid Today )just for the average
person shouldn`t EXPECT such high income like that in ONE DAY without meeting certain conditions ...
... That it`s best for that person to choose a more safer route when starting out. ( I give
examples of this in post #66 )

Daegan pointed out to me this as well, that "only those qualified by price can even enter " such a program (post# 63 ) which again tells me this is NOT FOR the masses or general FREE leads coming into a simple recruiting system.

Dave

Hey, Mike if you happened to revisit this thread, Sorry for any confusion on my part.

hello,

i've been a loser at MLM for years and now pursuing other online marketing opps.

this is what i've been mostly turned-off by many business owners online. EVERYONE is selling information...not necessarily a solution, information. theoretically, it could be offered free...right? no...because they're in the business of selling information! your gonna have to pay for some secret information that only a few have discovered and protected. pfsshh!

now, if you're gonna go for information...personally, i want the information that is gonna show how-to-do. i don't want more information before i establish sound beginnings. i used to be a teacher and through my studies...i realize...that's the American School system too...new topic, new topic, new topic. where are the basics? i'm tired of it. make things complicated and advanced without solid beginnings...your bottom will fall out (ie. our country's economy...advanced finance thought & systems/while countries like Iraq have billions in reserve).

i don't mind telling people about Daegan because...he's in contact with you damn near everyday! how can you not respect that?! he will provide free information too, without turning your pockets inside-out to get it. really, it's not worth protecting and always placing a price on it. in addition, i don't want an autoresponder contacting me everyday-give me a personal touch.

most MLM & NW comps are legit...just suffer from lack of unique product and ppl keeping reps in worker mode instead of grooming them to be in Boss position.

i'll go with the person who remains visible and provides information that i can use to take action...not set me up to become well versed in all these 'secret' marketing techniques so that i can flaunt what i KNOW. i need action, solutions, and results.

Well nearly finished.

In the UK we do actually do prefer Tea to Coffee.

And in case anyone thinks this lacks ethics to be fair it is just
British Bare Faced Cheek Mate.

I wonder who James is. Does anyone know?

And yes an interpretation that is open to personal opinion. Maybe the UK is different to te USA as most people in the UK that I have spoken to about CHL over the years agree. It was never about the person as I have said many times, although a few have taken this as a chance to air some unrelated points. Nothing to do with me I am happy to say.
I also admire your loyalty to your friend. I like that quality.

An interesting discussion and probably a good point ot close on. I for one am amazed at how this even ended up here but i guess I just learnt a valuable lesson about the big old web, oh and to never let james know what i am writing. Whoever James is. I wonder.............LOL

(p.s. James is not me in case you were wondering. Not my style)
