Give Them Chicken Wings And Mumbo Sauce And Double Your Profits

Monday, August 25th, 2008

What the heck is “Chicken Wings And Mumbo
Sauce?”

It’s two things, super tasty, and a way to
double your profits and recruits.

Here’s what I mean . . .

Here in Washington DC we have little
restaurants on just about every street corner
called “Carry Out’s” and sometimes, if I’m
taking a break I’ll walk down to the one
around the corner from me and get an ice tee, or
if I’m hunger, a turkey sandwich or
something.

Today I took a break and walked into my
corner “Carry Out” and I was the third person
in line.

While I waited I listened to what the other
two people in front of me ordered. They
both got some variation of “Chicken Wings And
Mumbo Sauce” - which is just fried chicken
wings drowned in sort of a sweet sauce.

I stopped to think about what people
regularly order when I go in there, and it
dawned on me that 50% of the people always
order, you guessed it, “Chicken Wings And
Mumbo Sauce”

It got me thinking about the carry out
business because, to be honest, most of them
are all about the same, and . . .

I realized if I ever wanted to run my own I’d
know exactly how to hit a home run (at least
here in DC).

See, most carry outs try to be all things to
all people, but mine would be different.

I’d call it “The King’s Chicken Wings And
Mumbo Sauce” with a little tag phrase - voted
the best chicken wings and mumbo sauce in
Washington DC.

And as a result I’d steal tons of market
share from regular old “Carry Outs” across
the city and be an instant hit.

Why?

Because I’d have the best “Chicken Wings And
Mumbo Sauce” in town of course and, for it, I’d have
people traveling great distances to get my
specialty.

If you want to double your sales in any
business, simply listen to what other peoples
customers want the most and specialize in it.

Be the best at that one thing they want the
most and your business will instantly go from
being just like the rest to something quite
spectacular and unique.

I get asked all the time “Daegan, How do I
get leads?”

The answer is, find you’re markets “Chicken
Wings And Mumbo Sauce” become the best at
providing it and your prospects will come out
of the wood works to find you.

It’s really as simple as that, but what do
you think? I’ll be reading each and every one
of your comments below, so be sure to leave
me one.

P.S. If you had told me two years ago I be
breaching the $100,000 a month mark in my
simple little online business I would have
laughed in your face and walked away, but
here we are and here’s how you can do it too.

Now I’ve Seen Everything . . .

Monday, July 21st, 2008

For the person who thinks they’ve seen
everything . . .

Sit back, relax, and take a gander at this
short happening and afterwards, let me know if
you’ve ever seen this one before.

Because I’d never seen anything like this . . .

So there I was, sitting in my little home
office, typing away as usual as I look at the
clock. It reads 6:41 pm. I’m late! I call Kim
and tell her I’m on the way to pick her up,
then take a quick shower, not even realizing
for a second what I’m about to witness.

30 minutes later we arrive at Duffy’s Irish
pub to meet up with a few friends. We get a
couple appetizers (Sliders - 4 small
hamburgers) before going over.

8:15 pm hits and we make our move over to the
9:30 Club here in DC. We wait what seems like
forever before I ask the dumbest question of
the night “What time is this thing gonna
start?”

“Duhh, Daegan you’re at the 9:30 Club, what
time do you think?”

I’m silenced and sit back quietly to wait for
the show to begin.

9:30 pm hits and about 8 minutes later it
all starts. The whole crew comes on stage and I
have to wipe my eyes because I don’t believe
what I’m seeing. It seemed like there were
20+ people up there.

And then a double take, “Is that what I think
it is?” I quiet my mind and focus in.

“Now I’ve seen everything” I think to myself
. . .

There, right before my eyes, was the funniest
and coolest thing I’d ever seen in my life. A
60+ year old man holding a guitar, singing,
wearing . . . a diaper.

(Here’s proof)

Man In Diaper

Now I thought this was all a gimmick, but two
hours later . . . there he was still playing
his guitar . . . fully comfortable in his
skin and his grown man diaper.

This sight made me really reflect . . .

George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic had
been “getting it funky” for over 30 years and
here they were, probably on the 2000+ show,
loving every minute of their performance just
as much as we were.

And I thought . . .

“That’s the answer isn’t it?” Do what you love,
and love what you do and neither it or you
ever get old.

So many people get into a home business to
never work again, but the best of the bunch
quickly realize that it’s not about not
working, it’s about setting a mission and
path for your life that isn’t work.

It’s a mission.

George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic’s
mission is “get funky” and put on a good
show. It’s timeless. All members of the band
were definitely in their twilight years, but
you’d never know by the way they performed.

What’s your mission? Once you’ve got it. No
longer are you working for “the man” you’re
living your message vibrantly playing at what
others would call work, and who knows . . .

Maybe 30 years from now, you’ll feel so
comfortable and young doing it, you’ll wake up
one day and strap on an old man (or woman)
diaper and play your heart out like my new
friend. (Or maybe not)

Either way, set your path by your mission,
and like the wise “George Clinton and crew”
never a day again in your life will you work.

If your mission is anything like mine -
living and creating life without limit across
the globe, maybe this will help you on your
path. Go here and play hard . . .

P.S. What if you NEVER had to worry about
money again? What would you do? Who would you
be? How would you live? Live from there now,
and then walk the path and here’s your free
blueprint.
