Duke Dominates UNC Again

Some things in the world never change. Just
like gravity and the ground being below you
every time you take that first step out of
bed in the morning Duke will forever dominate
UNC on the basketball court.

And now I know I’m gonna get a ton of people
crying about how UNC is so great, but the way
I figure it, there are two types of people in
the world - The winners, those who are pro
Duke, and the loosers any who oppose Duke.

Same thing in the network marketing industry,
it’s a marketplace full of winners and
looser.

The winners, and this group will grow as time
progresses, are those that see the infinite
opportunity that leveraging the internet to
grow their business in push button fashion
holds.

The looser, those who hold true to tradition,
and when asked “Can you grow a business
online?” only answer with “It’s can’t work.”
And when grilled on the question have no good
answer why.

I faced this sort of opposition in my
formative years in the network marketing
industry. THEY kept saying it can’t be done,
but when asked why, the only reason was THEY
hadn’t done it themselves.

Now I stand victorious in the winners circle
on both fronts pro Duke and pro massive
internet leverage, with a huge downline and a
winning basketball team. (By an 11 point
margin I might add . . .)

But this message isn’t so much about me
boasting, as it is about this . . .

The way that Duke continues to win year in
and year out. You see, the team changes,
players go on to the pros, and a new class
steps up to the plate, but the winning keeps
on flowing.

Each team has different talents. When I
attend Duke a few years back we had a great
team that could shoot like crazy from the
perimeter and they leveraged that to a national
championship.

Today the team is much different, much more
balanced, they can shoot from the outside,
and have explosive power in the middle, and
because of it, their SYSTEM is different than
it was during my time.

Coach K is worth every dime he’s paid because
he has the unique talent to see each team’s
strength thru the years and develops a winning
SYSTEM for that group of youngster. They
follow the plan and they win.

Same holds true for you in your business, but
you don’t have coach K, so you gotta see the
lay of the land for yourself and set a SYSTEM
that builds on your strengths and the
strengths of the business you represent.

What they don’t tell you is different
business are different, what THEY want to do
is slap the same old cold calling scheme on
you no matter what biz your in. Even when it’s
not the best path. (And cold calling is never
the best move.)

What you have to see in your business is,
where the strengths are. . .

Does your business have a kick butt online
marketing system? If so play on it. Leverage
the heck out of it.

Does your business have killer business
opportunity calls? If so leverage it.

Whatever your business does well, lean on it
and build your system around it.

Like all good Duke team’s know. For the
individual player in the game it’s the
fundamentals that matter the most, so no
matter what the system, you gotta be a pro
when it comes to the fundamentals.

What are they?

Lead generation and relationship building.

If you can master these two aspects,
recruiting and duplication get easy, but
remember lean on your companies strengths for
the conversion and duplication. That’s what
you build your duplicable system around, and
it’s NOT going to be the same for every
company.

You?

You get good at the fundamentals and be sure
to get with the winning team, those who love
and root for Duke, and those who see and aim
to master this new era of internet network
marketing.

Today’s Message Is Brought To You By The
Letter “T”

There are two very important “T” words that
you must know by heart and use on a daily
basis in your marketing efforts.

The first is TRACKING

You must track everything that you do in your
business or else you’re literally flying
blind. If you’re not using ad tracking in
your business how do know which ads work?

It’s a habit for most that is learned late in
the game, but I’m telling you flat out the
more you track the more you make and more you
recruit.

How does a person who couldn’t recruit a soul
to save his life go on to recruit some 467+
without picking up the phone? It has a lot to
do with that little “T” word. Once I found
something that worked I did it over and over
again, and it just keeps on working.

But you don’t know what works until you start
practicing the fine art of tracking your
actions online. Once you hit gold, you find a
resource or particular traffic generation
method that works well and converts
consistently and predictably you practice the
art of “Relentless repetition”

You do that same thing over and over and
over.

I was asked a few days ago “How do you grow a
big list fast?” It has a lot to do with the
two things just mentioned. Once you have your
set up ready, you start TRACKING. Once you’re
tracking shows you the least resistant path
to success you keep on plugging away at it.

If you can generate 1 lead you can generate
1000 and if you can generate 1000 leads you
can generate 10000 if you practice the arts
of tracking and relentless repetition.

Now the other “T” is just as important as the
first. It’s TESTING.

Once you’ve tracked your actions enough to
know what works now comes the testing phase.
You TEST everything you can about your
marketing funnel from email headlines to
audio on your lead capture page.

Why?

You’ll again hit pay dirt. You’ll find a few
surprising things that instantly catapult
your results. One example from my own
business is I’ve been testing audio in
different portions of my business, on one
particular funnel the addition of just a
simple short audio message increased my
conversions by over 100%.

The great thing about testing is, once you
find what works better, you just leave it. It
requires no further work on your part, yet
you reap the rewards forever.

What if one small tweak to one of your
landing page could double the number of
people that you recruit without any
additional effort? Wouldn’t you want to know
what it is, like right now?

The way you find that out is to practice the
art of relentless repletion when it comes to
TESTING. Test it all, because one small
change could mean huge positive shifts in

If you live in the United States, yesterday
you and I both witnessed a monumental lesson
in overcoming the odds.

I was sitting at a local bar here in DC with
my lady friend when it happened.

I personally wanted to see the New England
Patriots win the Super Bowl because I wanted
to witness history, but as fate would happen
it didn’t happen that way.

The New York Giants stepped out on the
playing field with a game plan, a mindset
that knew no failure, and beat Goliath.

After the game an announcer made a comment
that I’ll never forget. He said “You don’t
win a game like that unless you truly believe
you’re going to win.”

Truer words could not have been spoken.

Before the game all I heard were predictions
of how much the Patriots would win by, but
the Giant’s knew something we didn’t. They
knew they had a chance, they KNEW they were
good enough, and they knew that all they had
to do was step out on the field and make it
happen.

And they did.

The fist lesson is, if you believe in
yourself, if you train hard, and you leave it
all out there on the field you can make
anything happen.

It’s no different in your business. Sure you
have nay sayers who probably think you’re
crazy for even entertaining the idea of
becoming completely financially independent
through your network marketing business, but
if you know deep down in your heart that it’s
gonna happen it is.

The second lesson is, immunity to criticism,
Eli Manning was made fun of, called a hack,
and never given a chance the entire season.

It didn’t matter to him though. He just let
it roll off his shoulders and just kept
working hard.

What they thought didn’t matter a bit to him
and now he stands on the victory podium
crowned a true champion. Forget what they
say. Give it your all and stay focused and no
less of a success will come your way.

You gotta train, you gotta believe, and you
gotta leave it all on the field. If you do
this you’re a winner no matter what the
outcome.

Today is Q&A day, and this question came in
from Jeff recently, he didn’t leave a last
name so Jeff, this ones for you!

“What is the most effective method to recruit
on line and off?”

The most effective way to recruit online or
off is simple. Let’s think back to those home
meetings and hotel meeting that you may have
attended in the past. What did you notice
about them?

There was a group of people sitting and
listening in to one person present the
opportunity right? That’s the key. You
recruit in mass. Create a group and then
present the opportunity to them.

Now back years ago this had to be done in
person, but today it’s much easier. You can
literally do it all through email in an
extremely short amount of time. The complete

change your life financially in a huge way:

Let me step back and explain a few things.

When people talk about the internet and email
marketing the first thing they want to ask is
“How big is your list?” See, they understand
leverage, but they miss a point. It’s not
about the size of the list, it’s about how
many people on the list know and trust you,
so within every list there is a subset of
people who are your true audience. Those are
the people you’re speaking to.

The stronger you foster the relationship with
your audience the easier recruiting will be.
And that’s why this formula is unparralled in

If you master this skill it does NOT matter
what business you’re in, or if it’s 15 years
from now it will still work like crazy.
People get hung up on the idea that their

worldwide audience that now knows and trusts
you you’ll more than double the number of
people you recruit in this way as well. To

But this all starts with traffic. First you
have to learn how to get a lead. If you can
get one you can get thousands. And so you need to
have what’s called a lead capture page set up
so that you can filter your prospects into

Once you’ve got leads rolling in, the ball is
in your court. You now have the leverage to
speak to a large audience so do it! Start

you’ll earn more money if you do make the
personal contact, so I give you this advice
to put more people in your business.)

After you’ve leverage email and power
prospecting you can take things to the next
level. Start doing your own group meetings
via webinar or seminar by phone. Now this is
a skill I haven’t let out of the bag yet in a
big way, but will, because if you master this
you can fine tune it to a point where you can
literally recruit 20% or more of how ever
many people you have on the line in a single
call. You has 30 people on the call you
recruit 6. You have 300 you recruit 60 in one
fell swoop.

Not bad right? We’ll get to mastering the
phone and online web conferencing a little

personal prospecting and you’ll clean shop.

my team members that forced action out of me.

I got a call yesterday from a network
marketer who told me my diet cookie was in
the mail. I asked him had I requested a diet
cookie? He said no I just found your
information online and decided to send it and
give you a call. I laughed and said there’s a
better way than disrupting people lives who
have expressed no interest in your product
and that I would show him how if he wanted.
He said no . . . we’ve got a system that
works. Carry on my cold calling friend, but
if you want to learn how to have people chase
you down instead of chasing them down like
this charcter here’s your ticket . . . Take
action NOW!

Back to the discussion at hand:

The email said . . .

Daegan,

“I’ve got 3 people in my business and not
much has happened this month for me, but my
downline says that if I don’t produce some
results for them to follow soon they are
going to quit. Please help me get things
moving faster so they don’t leave.”

Can you see the fear in this request?

I do.

I wrote this person a lengthy response which
I won’t go into in full here, but it boils
down to this:

If you run your business based on the actions
of others you will not succeed. You’ll fill
yourself with unneeded anxiety based on
something completely out of your control.

As a network marketer your job is to attract
the RIGHT people and help them to do the
same.

If those that you bring into your business
want you to do everything for them before
they take action you’re working with the
wrong people. They bought in on a hope and
dream and are waiting for you to send them
there winning lottery ticket.

They just don’t understand how it all works.

Now it is your job to help them to understand
that they are running a business and the show
them the things that will help them to be
more successful in their business, but it’s
not your job to do everything for them.

If they understood the awesome power that
network marketing offers the way you do they
would never put this misplaced pressure on
you.

And if the leave . . .

So what?

It’s just another step in the right direction
for you in your business.

You have to filter through those that join on
whim and then sit around waiting for you to
do everything.

They fear success and they don’t believe
they’re worth it.

If they did there would be nothing in the
world that would stop them from achieving it.

Now that you know this carry on fully of
passion and desire for your life’s dreams
that network marketing can you manifest
without fear.

If you know your business is going to grow
without a shadow of doubt and you take the
actions to make it happen it’s only matter of
time before it does.

Let fear run their business NOT yours.
