What Came First - The Network Marketing Success Or The Book About It?

What Came First?

I was having a discussion with one of my new
mlm team members yesterday and I am always
amazed by the questions that people ask me.

They are always the same questions that I had
before I figured how to do this network
marketing thing the smart way.

Well this young lady by the name of Dorothy
Garner asked me a question that I think many
many people wonder about and I think you all
will like the answer to here question.

She asked . . .

“What came first the eBook or the network
marketing success?”

The answer to this question is interesting
because I always wondered about this myself
before figuring things out. I would asked .
.. “Did those guys that had all guide on
network marketing success achieve success
before the book or was the book their
success?”

Well I don’t know about all those other guys,
but in my case the success came first.

I found a business that was positioned
correctly for my business model then I did
some marketing tests which turned out to be
very successful and then in that initial
excitement I want to ensure that my team was
able to duplicate my success, so I wrote a
marketing guide discussing all the things I
had used to be successful.

After that, and getting many many compliments
on it, I decided to create an actual info
product for the general public.

The truth is the methods I teach will work
for any network marketer in any business. The
template is layed out. All that anyone has to
do is just follow it to a tee and they will
experience the same success I did.

Why?

The internet is neutral so the sale is made
in the mind of the prospect.

What I mean is - I don’t ever buy anything
online because anyone told me to. I do it
because I decide I want whatever the product
or service is and so do you.

Could someone create a product or service to
market before having success in business?

Probably . . .

But I don’t think anyone should market any
sort of “how to” guide that they create
unless it directly reflects that person’s
personal success and experience.

So that’s the answer - The success came
before the product.

It goes like this . . .

Education => Success => Infoproduct NOT the
other way around!

Can You Hit A Moving Target Blindfolded?

Saturday, January 26th, 2008

A few days ago I conducted my regularly scheduled
internet network marketing training call for
my organization.

We covered marketing tactics, follow up,
marketing systems, but most importantly right
at the end we discussed a topic so crucial to
success, yet so misunderstood, that you need
to hear exactly what I told these great
success seeking folks on the phone.

===Advertisement===
What if you could learn not only how to
generate leads and recruits on demand, but
also how to hit the bull’s eye everytime in
your marketing? No more cold calling, no more
wasting advertising dollars, and a whole lot
more fun, success, and income. That’s the
game I play and here’s your first lesson . .

I told them and I’m tell you imagine going to
a archery range and imagine that you have
never shot a bow and arrow before.

You head over to the equipment table excited
to get your equipment and finally take your
first shot.

You get there, you get your equipment, and
your instructor takes you out the to the
shooting range.

There it is right in front you . . . The
target. It’s big and it’s red with a white
circle in the middle for the bulls eye.

Ok, you’re ready to take your first shot.
Your instructor teaches you how to aim, but
before you take your first shot he blindfolds
you.

You shoot.

And what happens?

You miss.

Next your instructor takes your blindfold off
and takes you to another range where the
targets are moving and instructs you to do
the same.

He blindfolds you again, you shoot and . . .

Again you miss.

Remember you’re new to archery, and you’re
out there trying to hit these moving targets
with a blindfold on.

Even if you could see it, would probably take
you some time to get proficient enough at
archery to actually hit the target
consistently, but with a blindfold on, what
do you think your chances of hitting the
target are?

You could sit there all day and hurl one
thousand arrows and you would probably miss
the target every time.

What does this have to do with you and
network marketing on the internet?

It’s simple . . .

Learning how to market your business online
is like learning how to shoot a bow and arrow
for the first time.

It looks like fun, and is, but to hit the
bulls eye every time you gotta get good.

That’s gonna take practice.

But really, internet network marketing is
more like trying to hit a moving target.
You’re prospects are out there, but they’re
constantly moving around.

So it’s a little harder than hitting a static
target, but still a skill that is very
learnable.

What most people do though is . . .

They get excited. They learn just enough of
the craft to take a shot at finding a few
prospects online.

Then they put the blindfold on and shoot a
thousand arrows hoping to hit something.

It ain’t gonna work!

Your blind fold online is trying to market
your business without track your actions.

It’s just as silly to not track what you do
in your marketing efforts as it is to put a
blindfold on and try to hit a moving target.

You waste a lot of energy, you have no idea
how close you are to the target, and if you
do it long enough you’re gonna get frustrated
and quit.
