Advice From A $12,000,0000+ Network Marketer You Need To Know . . . .

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008

A couple days ago I was sitting in my office
nervous and excited.

I had my headset on in anticipation of a
special call I was about to have with one of
my most influential mentors as far the
network marketing game is concerned.

I can’t express to you how much this guy has
meant to me over the years. In fact, it’s
kinda funny . . .

I first heard of this guy after buying one of
his courses call “The ML’M Mastery Course”
and that’s exactly what it was for me.
And now . . .

Here I was, about to interview the guy on his
extensive 26 year track record of success,
which I’ll be exposing in a few . . .

See, one of my own personal secrets to
success isn’t really a secret at all, it’s to
lean on those who’ve been where I want to go.

Robert’s, course, the one I would listen to
as I drove around in my orange Mitsubishi
Eclipse “dreaming big” was like an exact
script for what I was going through on my run
to an organization of 7231+. All the ups, all
the downs, it was all there.

Needless to say, when I finally got a chance
to speak and grill this guy on the line I was
excited, nervous, scared, and nostalgic as to
how far I had come along. In just a few short
years there I was eye to eye with my mentor.

That’s why I love this industry, you know, a
little dogged determination, and the right
information and your dreams really really can
come true.

Onward to the call . . .

The conversation we had was filled with some
of the best brain food I’ve gotten in a long
time, but . . .

In this short episode I don’t have time to go
over everything because I promised my
girlfriend Kim I would take here on a  mid
day date to the movies, so I want to leave
you with one incredibly important insight
I’ll never forget from my talk.

Remember this: By Land, By Sea, By Air . . .

In other words, attack from all angles in your
follow up with your prospects for maximum
response. Here’s why . ..

As the stats go, it typically takes 7 to 12
interactions for your prospects to get to
know you and your company. Well, typically
people think of these interactions
sequentially as to mean . . .

“I’ve got to call my prospect X number of
times before I really get the result I want
or I’ve got to email them 12 times”

But, not really the case . . .

See 7 to 12 touches doesn’t mean over time.

It could mean simultaneously with the same
message, so one of the things Robert teaches
and preach as far as follow up goes, is to
make contact online, on the phone, and via
direct mail with the same message.

Why not get 3 touches in at the same time? In
fact, this approach is even more powerful and
efficient than spacing everything out.

Ohh . . .

Background on Robert - and as far as
experience, this is a guy who’s put 4000
people in a business in a few months, grown
several multimillion dollar downlines over
his 26 year career, and who’s earned
$12,000,000 growing one organization, so I’m
all ears. (And more than happy to share it
with you as a member of my inner circle here)

So maybe you understand what I’m saying, but
let me put it to you the way Robert made it
really hit home for me.

For the next week, check to see how many ad
type emails you get, check how many ads you
get in the mail, and check how many calls you
get . . .

You’ll see you get a TON more email than
anything else, and although I love emails,
you’ll quickly realize that if you just take
those two extra steps you step out of the
clutter and really start to make an impact
with your prospect.

(A lot easier to delete an email and not
read it than it is to throw away a postcard
without reading it.)

If you want to maximize your impact and start
recruiting on a new level the game plan is
right here.

Now what comes next?

See, if you’re smart, here’s what you realize,
most people reading this right now, not you
of course, will read this and do nothing, but
WILL think it would great to have if someone else
did it for them.

Hmm . . .

Do I smell opportunity?

If you’re one of the few who get the powerful
strategy behind today’s episode - YOU add that
piece to your business, and then you create a
“system” for your team where you do the grunt
work for them and they’ll all jump on board.

Your advertising budget will soar to new
heights if you just pool your funds into a
massive co-op and make it easy for your team
and you’ll have a massively larger downline
in the future for it.

All it takes is to think a little bigger, get
going before you know exactly how, then reach
back and offer others the opportunity to come
along. You groom the generals to be stars
and those that want to take it slower can
participate in your advertising pool.

I think I’ve shared enough. Off to the movies
for me!

“You’re About To Learn Secrets That Most
Network Marketers Will Never Know About Using
The Internet To Create Lifelong Financial
Independence . . .” Recruit Like Crazy

Daegan

Wouldn’t you like to know exactly what is
TRUE and what isn’t in the online network
marketing world?

Do you get confused with all the options that
people tell you are a MUST for your business?

What if you could get straight to the point
and know what to do and who you need to be to
succeed in your online network marketing
efforts?

Well today that is exactly what you’re going
to learn.

Let’s start with the first point . . .

The System NEVER changes:

It’s more important to see what’s going on
around you than to be hypnotized by it all.

Every single day your email inbox fills up
with new offers and new opportunities, some
grand and some not so grand. The problem is
it leaves you in a constant state of stress.

“Man this looks great! This is going to be
it, this is going to be the big
breakthrough.”

Five minutes later a new email hits your
inbox and internally you have the same
reaction.

Now you’re in stress because you potentially
have 2 or more fantastic options in front of
you that promise you the world and that you
believe will bring it to you, but the problem
is you don’t have $5,000 a day to spend on
learning.

You’re emotions switch to a state of
frustration and resentment because everyone
is now trying to sell you something. You want
it all, but because you can’t get it you feel
at a lose.

The truth is there will always be great
opportunities and a few not so great ones
mixed in.

But the truth, if you look at the greats -
the guys making all the big money, sure they
buy a lot of stuff to keep at the head of the
field, but when you look at their business
you see that not much of it changes.

Why?

Because they know that when you boil it all
down there are only a few things that you
have to do to produce a result and if it
works in their business they are sticking to
it.

What those things are I’ll get to in a
second, but as an aside this is why those
that have been successful in network
marketing with cold calling and warm
marketing rarely will change how they do
their business even if they know a better
way.

It’s just comfortable for them to do it their
way and so they stick to it.

This is why it’s always dangerous to take a
persons recruiting advice at face value. Of
course they will say that what they do works
because it works for them, but they leave out
the part of the equation where there are
options and possibly better strategies for
you to undertake.

When deciding how to recruit into your
business always ask “Is this the way I want
to run my business?”

And keep that question separate from “Does it
work?”

Regardless of if it works or not, it may or
may not be the best suited strategy for you
as a person.

This is why I personally set all the advice
aside on recruiting from all potential
sponsors that I had encountered after
learning better.

I knew that I wanted to do my recruiting
online and they really didn’t know how to do
that, so I had to let my results be my
sponsor.

That brings us to the next point, regardless
of what anyone says, let your result be the
ultimate truth teller.

What are the few things you must get right in
order to succeed, the things that even if you
didn’t buy a new eBook or course for the next
3 years would still allow your business to
flourish?

Simple . . .

Get traffic + Convert traffic to lead +
Systematized follow up to convert lead =
Results

That’s it.

There are several systems for doing this, but
if you focus on this equation you will win
even if you never buy another high priced
course again.

These things are fundamental to all direct
marketing and no matter who you are or what
you do to create results in your business
this is how they arise.

The best solution is to have a system for
each aspect and continually test ways to
improve each portion of the system
independently of the others.

This is the way to think and act
scientifically to improve your long term
results.

What you will find is if these things become
your major focus you will have personal
breakthroughs and think creatively outside of
the box of what you are told.

Now if your system involves warm marketing,
get a tutor to teach you the basics and
always track your results.

If your system involves online marketing,
pick up a copy of the “Email ML’M Formula” and
read it cover to cover three or four times,
and then get going.

==> http://www.recruitlikecrazy.com/emailfree.htm

What does change in this formula is that
intangible portion of your business that is
called YOU.

You see you must understand that at each
point in the equation above there is
opportunity for the application of leverage
and the application of personal touch.

It is up to you to discover what is the right
mix for you in your business.

I was on a network marketing forum some time
ago and one of the contributors says that he
only sponsors 1 or 2 people a year and that’s
the way he likes it.

I would call that man a success.

Internally he has set his thermostat at a
certain level and he keeps it there despite
the pull and push of the herd around him.

Success is finding the WAY for you.

Now for me, 1 or 2 people a year is far too
slow when I know that just about any given
time I have the knowledge and ability to
recruit 50 in a day.

I like to get things done faster, my thought
is “Why spend 25 years doing something I can
get done today?”

But again that’s me.

The things that change in the equation are
the things that will ultimately allow you to
find your unique and successful business
model, but no matter what, the pieces of the
basic equation never change.

This is important to understand.

Now the next point of discussion here is one
that I think many network marketers have a
tendency to overdo, I know I did.

That’s being an optimist.

Most of us in network marketing overdo it in
my opinion, and the reason is the industry
creates a culture of unlimited optimism.

“You can do it! Anything is Possible!”

We all hear this and internalize it, and to
an extent it’s true, but I’ve learned that
being overly optimistic can cost you.

It cost me $7000 my first round in network
marketing because I wanted to believe it was
going to work so bad that I completely
overlooked the reality of the situation.

Arguments can be made that all things happen
for a reason, but I caution you to watch your
optimism.

I don’t say don’t be optimistic.

I say watch it and always base it in the
reality of what you want, what you’re doing
to get it, and what’s actually happening.

An example is:

I knew I wanted to be successful in network
marketing, but I finally wised up and looked
at the situation going on in my business and
decided that in order to get my desired
result in the WAY I wanted it I had to change
not only what I was doing, but the company I
was with.

I knew that the goal was possible even
without success or experience, that’s my
optimistic side, but I also knew it wasn’t
going to happen doing what I was doing,
that’s my realistic side.

At times be sure to temper your optimism with
reality and you’ll find yourself on course
with what you want more than if you just let
your optimism run your actions unchecked.

The last point I want to bring up that will
help set you free from whatever it is that
could be holding you back is this.

When things aren’t going our way we tend
blame it on the circumstances.

Understand this . . .

AT NO POINT ARE YOU EVER A VICTIM OF
CIRCUMSTANCE IN YOUR BUSINESS

Do not let anything inert or circumstantial
be the cause of why you are where you are or
why you are not where you want to be.

When you do this you are giving control of
what happens in your life away to “something
else.”

In effect you are sending the message to
yourself that you don’t even control your own
life.

You can’t create success unless you know that
what you create and bring into your life is
not the result of what’s happening out of
your control.

Nothing has control over you except you [and
of course I’m not speaking spiritually, I’m
speaking worldly]

You are the master of your fate, own it.

Carry forward and turn your dreams into
reality.

Read this message as many times as you feel
necessary -owning these things in your
business will set you free to obtain any
results you know you have coming to you.
