Give Them Chicken Wings And Mumbo Sauce And Double Your Profits

What the heck is “Chicken Wings And Mumbo
Sauce?”

It’s two things, super tasty, and a way to
double your profits and recruits.

Here’s what I mean . . .

Here in Washington DC we have little
restaurants on just about every street corner
called “Carry Out’s” and sometimes, if I’m
taking a break I’ll walk down to the one
around the corner from me and get an ice tee, or
if I’m hunger, a turkey sandwich or
something.

Today I took a break and walked into my
corner “Carry Out” and I was the third person
in line.

While I waited I listened to what the other
two people in front of me ordered. They
both got some variation of “Chicken Wings And
Mumbo Sauce” - which is just fried chicken
wings drowned in sort of a sweet sauce.

I stopped to think about what people
regularly order when I go in there, and it
dawned on me that 50% of the people always
order, you guessed it, “Chicken Wings And
Mumbo Sauce”

It got me thinking about the carry out
business because, to be honest, most of them
are all about the same, and . . .

I realized if I ever wanted to run my own I’d
know exactly how to hit a home run (at least
here in DC).

See, most carry outs try to be all things to
all people, but mine would be different.

I’d call it “The King’s Chicken Wings And
Mumbo Sauce” with a little tag phrase - voted
the best chicken wings and mumbo sauce in
Washington DC.

And as a result I’d steal tons of market
share from regular old “Carry Outs” across
the city and be an instant hit.

Why?

Because I’d have the best “Chicken Wings And
Mumbo Sauce” in town of course and, for it, I’d have
people traveling great distances to get my
specialty.

If you want to double your sales in any
business, simply listen to what other peoples
customers want the most and specialize in it.

Be the best at that one thing they want the
most and your business will instantly go from
being just like the rest to something quite
spectacular and unique.

I get asked all the time “Daegan, How do I
get leads?”

The answer is, find you’re markets “Chicken
Wings And Mumbo Sauce” become the best at
providing it and your prospects will come out
of the wood works to find you.

It’s really as simple as that, but what do
you think? I’ll be reading each and every one
of your comments below, so be sure to leave
me one.

To the top,

Daegan

P.S. If you had told me two years ago I be
breaching the $100,000 a month mark in my
simple little online business I would have
laughed in your face and walked away, but
here we are and here’s how you can do it too.

As a huge fan of wings in general, but usually of the Buffalo variety….and being on the Left Coast and unfamiliar with the Mumbo Sauce…I wasn’t sure what to make of this post. But, it sure did make me hungry!!
Actually, I got the jist of what you are saying and I do agree with you. The real deal is figuring out what the people “really” want…right? And how do you know? I guess if you are talking about a business opportunity it is the simple but tried and true–financial freedom, time freedom, feeling like you are building a legacy to leave your family, making a difference in people’s lives, etc.
With my case, having a business that is super necessary in this world right now with a seemingly huge demand, having a Federal law that is mandating something that I have the best answer for (which we do for next to nothing) and having a product that will (and does) help and positively effect people’s lives….I should be swimming in success. Yet, I have struggled to get this business off the ground. I feel as though it is the biggest no-brainer EVER…but it has been a challenge and a half to find associates, find customers and help business customers that to me ought to be pounding on my door asking for me to help them!!
Based on what you have been saying all along…and with your drip drip drip on me each and every day with email (got to love aweber, yes?) and videos…it would likely behoove me to try and establish this business online somehow. I think the vast majority of the people in my company do not do that…or at least I don’t know of anyone who does…but I still feel in my core that you are right and ANY business can benefit from not only the exposure…but the promise of a better life and the benefits that can come from being an associate with my company.
Where to start? Really not sure. I just missed getting into your “100″ with the new company, and will forever wonder if my hesitation to spend that money (after so long not making any with many other trials and errors, hesitation was natural) cost me a fortune. Still, I love what my company really DOES for people…and they need it, and can greatly benefit from it…and will likley change the face of the industry before it’s over. All great things.
I have been in Sales for 30 yrs. The last 17 in the auto industry. Tough sales. Yet this…with an “easy” sell product, one that people need, one that they should have to protect themselves of a runnaway problem (Identity Theft) has been the absolute most difficult thing to sell in my entire life. I am trying to “retrain” myself to not sell…because that is the advise that I so often receive…but it ain’t easy to teach an old dog new tricks as they say.
So how do I find the “mumbo sauce” in this deal and concentrate on it? Any ideas? I have always been product oriented…due to my sales backround. But perhaps it isn’t about that…..
    Thanks,Gregg

    Gregg,

You’re on the right track with your thinking, but break it down into even simpler chunks. If you had a store where new home business or hopeful home business start ups came in and shopped what would most of them ask you for? That’s what you get good at and provide the best of. In this industry financial freedom is good, but it’s not the tangible thing that people really want. What they REALLY want is leads. Be the provider or the path to that and they will come looking for you.

Once again, your knowledge of how to break it down is great. It is pretty simple, the hard part is organizing, prioritizing and doing the work. Again, just as you said chunk it down to bite size pieces and move in the direction of your goals. As the saying goes “How do you eat an elephant? One piece at a time”
